Kitsune buried her blade into the elven bandits chest. She pushed until the guard hit his ribs. He opened his mouth to scream as a pulse of magic is released, he had been marked. His eyes and mouth were wide open, but bubbles of blood were all that would come out.
***Kitsune hit! B5 is dead***
Torvil strode through the debris like a minotaur wading through tulips. He quickly introduced the next would be thief to the business end of his war pick.

Akira, seething in pain from the hit to her shoulder and seeing red from rage at the bandits, crawls over to the doorway as Vayne requested. Powering through the aches coursing through her shoulder and arm, she nocks her arrow, draws back on her bow, and aims at bandit 3.
Akira'sshot goes wide, the pain in her shoulder was just too much. She feels a hand on her back and hears Vayne say, "This is going to hurt, a lot, but I will fix it. Brace yourself, and hold still." Before she can say anything he puts his right knee against her back, grabbed the bloody arrow shaft, and pulled it through with one quick yank. Akira nearly passes out from shock, but as quickly as that arrow hit, the pain was gone. Vayne's hand covered the hole in her back and a wave of healing magic was released in a soft blue light, completely closing the wound. ***cure wounds 12 HP***
Bandit 1 loads another bolt and fires at Akira. ***miss!***
Bandit 2 drops his crossbow and wades through the junk on the floor to get to Torvil. He draws his scimitar and swings, but the dwarf was no stranger to battle. Torvil shifts slightly, bringing his shield in the path of the incoming blow. ***miss!***
Bandit 3 brings his blade to bare again, jumping at the opening in Torvil's defense left by blocking the other attack. His shield may have been wide, but fine chain armor kept the blade from doing any damage. ***miss! (DIS ADV)***
***Party's turn. B4 and B5 are dead. B3 is bloodied. B2 has moved into melee with Torvil. Ongoing effects: Torvil rage / Vayne innate sorcery and mage armor / (forgot to add IS in last round wrap up) / Kitsune hunter's mark *** Please work off the prior map, it's getting late and I had parent / teacher conferences tonight! Kitsune watches B5 slump to the floor, her blade slick with blood. "Target eliminated" she states, her clinical voice devoid of emotion. Her gaze snaps toward the cluster of enemies surrounding Torvil.
Since B3 appears to be the closest reachable bandit (OOC: in this difficult terrain, Kitsune can move 15' which is the exact distance B3 is away from Kitsune), she adjusts her focus to the next threat. With a sharp flick of her wrist, she transfers the spectral mark (OOC: Hunter's Mark) to B3, and quickly but carefully maneuvers through the wreckage, closing in to strike.
Shortsword Attack on B3: 22 Damage: 7 + 4 force damage
Kitsune leaves the eliminated target to make it's pool on the littered floor. She hops over a broken chair, side steps what may once have been a lovely painting; now torn with broken frame, and sliding around the corner on a few table legs that seemed to have misplaced the top. Her focus on the magic holds, shifting her hunter's mark to her next target. A quick thrust did not find flesh, the elf nimbly rolling his shoulders forward and sucked in his stomach. He looked as surprised as anyone that it worked. ***miss!***

With Akira back up and fully functioning, the tiefling turned his attention to the one still holding a crossbow. "Step in just a bit if you would," he says to Akira. When she even shifts slightly right or forward he will step in just far enough to get a clean look at B1. Raising his hand and extending a slender finger he begins to chant softly. Again, Akira can hear the audible hisssssssssssssssss of his final words. The black/green tendril of magic reached out towards B1, spewing a gout of poison into his face when it draws near to him. ***poison spray attack (ADV from innate sorcery) 19 damage 2 poison*** The bandit saw the sorcerer's trick before and dipped low out of the main spray, still taking damage, but very little. With a look conveying a bit of disappointment he drops back out of the doorway; perfectly content to help where he can and not get shot with a crossbow bolt for his effort.

Torvil growls at the third bandit seeing Kitsune standing beside him and missing. He swings his war pick again, just barely catching the bleeding bandit on the shoulder, he feels his hit dig in. He pulls him close and spittle flies onto his face as he looks at him. He turns his head and looks at the bandit to the left of him, saying “You want some too?”

Torvil's strike drove down into the bandits shoulder, crushing ribs and shreading the elf's left lung. He managed a weak bubbling gasp before sliding off the gory pick. ***hit! B3 is dead*** B2 watched the crushing blow with wide eyes. You suspect that he does not in fact want some too.

Before Akiracan even release a scream of pain and suffering, she feels it all lift away. She is completely healed of her wound in her shoulder. Very briefly she feels Vayne’s touch on her back with a sigh of relief. She jerks to her right and lunges on her right leg and watches a bright green/ black flash pass over her left shoulder coming from Vayne. With a renewed sense of energy and vengeance for the bandits she quickly drops her hood, reaches for an arrow, nocks it onto her bow and draws it once again, aiming for bandit 2 that seems to be in shock from the swift death of his comrade. She breathes in and out and thinks deeply to herself “For Ehlokar”.
attack roll on B2: 21 damage: 4 sneak attack damage: 6
Akira's arrow slams into the bandit's chest. He staggers, coughing up blood, the arrow no longer visible. How he remains on his feet is a mystery. ***hit!***
Bandit 1 loads another bolt, points it at Akira, glances to his friend, the only one still alive, who just so happens to also be almost dead, and drops the crossbow to the floor. He also pulls his scimitar from the sheath and throws it to the floor as well. Bandit 2, barely hanging on, a neat little hole going all the way through his chest, needed no further prompting. His blade also hits the floor. Both raise their hands in surrender.

Kitsune lowers her blade, the tip still hovering inches from where B3 just collapsed. She looks between the two surrendering elves and the carnage littering the shop floor, her expression unreadable behind her filter.
"Optimal decision" she says, her voice echoing in the sudden quiet. "The survival rate of your unit has dropped to 40%. Any further resistance would result in total liquidation."
She keeps her shortsword drawn, though she doesn't move to strike. Her eyes scan the room, searching for whatever specific item these scavengers were so desperate to find.
Kitsune points her blade towards the barely-hanging-on-by-a-thread B2, and with a cold raspy voice commands: "Identify the object of your search immediately, or your biological utility expires."
Bandit 2 offers absolutely no resistance or hesitation. "We are looking for magic; scrolls, potions, books, whatever we can find. The boss, Hulil, has the blue veins curse. She is desperate for a cure." Bandit 1 offers a nod of confirmation before adding, " We found nothing, and as you can see have turned the place upside down. You can talk to the owner if you like, she is in the back room."
Passive Insight 10 or higher:
Bandit 1 has a sadistic twinkle in his eye. You are certain that he is amused by some bit of information that he has not provided.
Seeing your suspicious glare, he simply nods towards the small bedroom in the back of the destroyed shop. "Don't get your hopes up. I tried, and she just gave me the cold shoulder." He barely suppressed as chuckle, and couldn't hide his smirk.

Akira notices the twinkle in the first Bandit’s eye after they give their information that Kitsune asks for. She takes out her dagger and starts to fidget with it with her hands and under her finger nails, picking using it to pick blood out from under her nails.
Walking towards bandit 1 she states
”There anything else you want to share with us? Your friend sure is in bad condition, and could get worse if you’re not careful.”
"Go see for yourself. You will better understand Hulil's fear and desperation. As for the rest, you heard it from the one too hurt to lie. She is slowly succumbing to the curse, disease, whatever it is. She is likely to die in Croaker Cave. She sent us in desperation, her sister had already cleaned the place out a few months ago."

"Your amusement suggests a biological or environmental hazard in the back room...identify the sister who cleaned out this shop before I decide your utility has ended." She keeps her blade steady, signaling Torvil and Akira to maintain their guard against a potential ambush from the rear.
"Tulgi. Ain't nothing back there gonna hurt ya. Pelc can't do much at all, frozen as she is."
