(OoC: Using the Battle Medic trait of his Healer feat, he can: "... expend one use of a Healer's Kit (he still has 6 uses) to tend to a creature within 5 feet... That creature can expend one of its HP Dice, and you then roll that die. The creature regains a number of HP equal to the roll +2." - If needed, ie if Miri has more than superficial injuries, he will use a kit. Since I don't know what HD Miri has, @DM, you'll have to do the roll)
As he does, he'll speak in a low voice to her, "Next time you go ashore, let the rest of us know." Halpsays it simply. A fact. Not up for debate.
Sólmyrkvi's family ran a farm back in Midgard, so his only experience with wolves involves how they can attack unprotected livestock, like the goats mentioned yesterday. When he gets a chance, he asks Miri, "Were you attacked by the wolf? Or did you go hunting for it specifically?"
If Miri says that she was specifically hunting the wolf, he politely compliments her skill. But he also finds it a little odd. He's no hunter himself, but he thought that hunters usually looked for deer or boars or large birds.
If Miri says that she was attacked, he asks her what she was tracking when it attacked her. What led her into the wilderness? In his experience, wolves don't pose much of a threat to humans unless the human is alone, and the wolves are very hungry. But then he also remembers the black bear that charged into the market in their settlement yesterday. He silently wonders what makes the animals in this new land so aggressive.
Leif you get to work (add a wolf pelt and 2 days worth of rations to your inventory) as Miri answers, "The tracks did not belong to this beast. It was tamed by another. A man I think but..." she pauses for a moment to consider her words and shakes her head.
Halp you see to her wounds and give your instruction, the kit is not needed but she does appear grateful. "As you wish." she answers simply with a nod.
Sólmyrkvi when you ask your questions she resumes her train of thought, "No, like I said the tracks were... human." she does not sounds convinced by that last word, "I followed and they circled back around behind me and attacked. The wolf was with him. He set it on me. I fought them both, killed the wolf and wounded him. These are his weapons."
She drops the spear and net to the deck for you all to examine.
Leif offers the hide and wolf meat back to Miri in tribute for her bravery and fierceness in battle. “This evening, over a celebratory fire, I would be honored to prepare the meat for you and with whomever you wish to share this largess. Also, perhaps we can fashion a cloak out of this pelt so that you may blend in even easier to the scenery we’re exploring.”
Leif hopes with his Mending spell and the talents and tools from the rest of the party, this can be accomplished.
”Were the tracks old that lead you away from the ship? Or were they laid during our watch last night?” Leif can’t be sure that he was the guilty party for falling asleep, but he surely feels that it happened on his watch. He is hoping against hope that the tracks were more than 12 hours old when found.

“Well done, Miri. Was this one you were tracking or one that was hunting you? The Captain says there were tracks at our last rest.”
Leif offers to help field strip the animal of fur and meat on shore rather than messing up the deck. More knives make short work.
