Hmm. Never played Stormwreck Isle, although I've DMed it once or twice. Let's roll these scores and see if the old tychomancy still works.

Name: Irtos https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/160678845/Q3apHJ Race: Red Dragonborn Class / Planned Subclass: Cleric / Life Background: Scribe Brief Backstory: A group of kobolds and red dragonborn had been brewing a very addictive drink and selling it to a nearby city to enrich their dragon master. The heroes put a stop to that, killing the dragon and dragonborn. The kobolds were hired to brew safer drinks, and the heroes adopted the now orphan Irtos. This proved to be the perfect environment for the scrawny Irtos, a place where she could use her mind instead of her muscle. Now an adult, Irtos has come to check out the stories she's heard of Stormwreck Isle’s connection to dragons. Character Appearance: (Art piece or description)
A short (4'6"), scrawny (145 lb), red dragonborn sometimes mistaken for a large kobold.
Forest gnomes are taught to be clever before they are taught to be brave. Devizes Scuttlebreath learned bravery the hard way.
Illusion, misdirection, and laughter were the gnomish way of surviving among much larger folk. Devizes was never especially gifted at subtle magic or trickery. He was loud, blunt, and, well angry. While other gnomes solved problems with clever words and cleverer illusions, Devizes solved them by standing his ground and refusing to move.
When a border war broke out between a nearby human barony and an encroaching hobgoblin legion, Devizes home became a battleground. Gnomish illusions failed against disciplined troops and burning tactics and for the first time in generations, the gnomes were forced to choose sides.
Devizes volunteered.
At first, the human officers laughed at the idea of a gnome soldier. That laughter stopped after Devizes dragged a wounded sergeant out from under a collapsing siege tower while arrows pinned the ground around them. He couldn’t match humans stride for stride, but he could hold a shield wall, crawl where others couldn’t, and fight with a ferocity that unsettled even veteran troops.
He learned formation fighting, battlefield discipline, and the brutal truth of war: orders matter, hesitation kills, and rage, his defining trait, can be a weapon.
That rage became Devizes’s defining trait.
On the field, when the line broke or the horns sounded retreat, something old and wild would rise up in him. A fury rooted not in bloodlust, but in refusal. Refusal to be driven back. Refusal to let larger enemies decide his fate. Refusal to let friends die while he still drew breath.
Devizes Scuttlebreath walks the world as a former soldier with a barbarian’s fury and a veteran’s instincts. He knows how to follow orders—but only if they make sense. He respects discipline—but not blind authority. And when battle comes, he fights like someone who has already seen the worst and decided he will not be the one to break.
Small, scarred, and unyielding, Devizes is living proof that size has never decided who holds the line.

Name: Ash Race: High Elf Class / Planned Subclass: Druid/Circle of the Land Background: Sage Brief Backstory: Ash, he changed his name to that of his favorite tree, was supposed to be the families next wizard. His education and training had been laid out for him in a grueling pace, for him to achieve what his parents dreamed. Problem was, if an instructor turned their back for too long, Ash was out the door and in the woods, sometimes for days. He would return, be scolded and something would be taken for punishment only for him to set through more lessons for about 2 days and it was back to the woods. On the day Ash was to commit to this dream, he showed up late, tattoo's up and down his arms and announced he had taken the rites of the Druids. This was his life path. His parents were furious at first but after receiving council from relatives and friends, they finally accepted their son's decision, turning their attentions to his younger siblings in hopes they will fulfill the tradition. Happy to be free of the obligation, Ash started wandering the wilds more & more to the point it has been a few years since he has seen family or old friends. He has been in deep woods studying nature in all its splendor. He keeps a journal on what he finds and he is troubled. When the land is damaged, in time it heals. The forest reclaims the land and the wilds return. With Sharruth's scar this is not the case. It stays an open wound in the earth. Ash has come to Dragon's Rest in hopes to find some answers or a direction to look. Character Appearance: (Art piece or description): Ash stands about 6 ft with an average elven build. Shoulder length golden hair is usually in a pony tail but there always seems to be a bit of dirt, branches or leaves tangled in it. His clothing is always earth tones, greens, browns, grays. His staff is always near him, made of a tangle of ash & oak with a few bits of bone, teeth & plats lashed to it with leather. He has tattoos of Druidic symbols & runes up and down both arms in deep blue ink.

Character Application
Name: Tatiana Delarosa
Race: Human (Versatile)(might change)
Class / Planned Subclass: Paladin / Oath of Devotion
Background: Noble(might change)
Brief Backstory
Tatiana comes from a minor noble house known for producing rigid, traditional knights. However, the shock of white hair she’s had since birth was always whispered to be a "dragon’s mark." Seeking to understand if her lineage was a blessing or a curse, she turned away from her family’s pursuit of status and looked toward the legend of the Platinum Dragon, Bahamut.
She traveled to Dragon's Rest not to hunt dragons, but to study under Runara. She believes that if an ancient bronze dragon can find peace in a place scarred by fire and war, then perhaps she can find a way to balance the cold iron of her duty with the warmth of compassion. She arrives at the cloister ready to defend the peace of the hermitage against the rising chromatic shadows.
Character Appearance
Tatiana is short and sturdily built, possessing a curvy, powerful frame that carries her heavy plate with surprising ease. Her most striking feature is her long, vibrant red hair, interrupted by a singular, thick shock of stark white that frames her face. Her eyes are the color of a frozen lake—a piercing, bright icy blue. She carries a well-maintained longsword and a kite shield polished to a mirror finish, reflecting her commitment to the ideals of the Platinum Dragon.
Opening this again as a couple of group 1's players have dropped for personal reasons. We're still right at the beginning so you won't have missed anything :)
Current party consists of a sorceress, a cleric, a barbarian and a rogue
Name: Lothia Race: Goliath (Cloud Giant Ancestry) Class / Planned Subclass: Warlock Background: Entertainer Brief Backstory: Lothia of Clan Thuliaga was born and raised near the lower reaches of the mountains that made up the Spine of the World's south western edge, and judged by her markings to become a future shaman of the tribe. Yet, while she proved herself in her youth to bear some gift in communing with otherworldly entities and tapping into the Weave, she lost that right in her youth upon being caught visiting peaks forbidden by the clan. In desperation she claimed to have been lead astray by a spirit, but her words not only rang hollow, the very attempt forever earned her the nickname 'Falsetongue'.
Dejected and forced into a 'lesser' role within the clan (at least by her reckoning), she would a year later again sneak away to visit the peak, determined to bring back proof of the clan's foolishness in fearing it. What she would ultimately find was a peculiar artifact; a simple stone encapsulated by bone, but when held up to the night sky it center mass turned translucent. It sung to her of promises that needed to be kept and something else she could not consciously make sense of. Nevertheless, whether out of combination of curiosity and fool heartedness, or some subtle aspect of the voice manipulating her from then on, she'd depart from her ancestral homelands following the guidance of the stone; the more storeteller aspects of her early training to become a shaman being put to use instead collecting stories and sharing tales to help her forge connections and get by a world far different than the one she group in.
