Carrick returns fire on the figures, managing to get one shot into one of the figures. His initial target appears to have gotten hidden behind complete cover, so retargets to a different enemy. (DCF #5: 17 damage.)
(Since DCF #6 is not within targetable view right now, I guess move targeting like we did for Carrik)
Eldin and Majin launch their attacks in synchronicity as the fire and bullets strike into the figure. They collapse under the flurry of attacks. (DCF: defeated. 62 damage)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ith throws another mote of flame from the lightning rail to the sky coach. It strikes into the chest of the figure. (DCF #1: 10 damage)
Edrick looks up from his attempts to prize the bars to get the suspicious crate out. "What's going on out there?"
With the group either taking cover or dropping to the floor, the figures regroup on their sky coach. Two of them go to their fallen companion and drag them to behind cover. Medicine:12
There's probably a bunch of blood back there...
The two still on deck (DCFs 3 & 4) load their rope-attached bolts. Giving that there is only Carrick who hasn't retreated to the cover of the carriage, they attempt to fire at him. Crossbow, Heavy vs. Carrick:7 vs. AC. Hit:7 piercing damage. Crossbow, Heavy vs. Carrick:13 vs. AC. Hit:12 piercing damage.
Thanks to keeping low, the two crossbow bolts fail to hit Carrick. The two figures quickly recoil the rope back towards them, reloading for the next round.
Carrick gets back to his feet, launching two more shots. The first is a little off track due to the movement, but the second shot compensates for it and strikes right into the figure's gut. (DCF #3: 22 damage)
Carrick spends half his movement getting up, then the rest to be able to get just into carriage #3 with the others. Pretty much everyone is clumped together at the carriage entrance.

Boo instructs Biff to try to pull up ahead past the carriage that her companions are on and stay out of range of the DCF's as best he can not wanting stray bolts shot into their own getaway sky coach with their attached ropes causing other problems or crashing it, etc. so is looking to head to the gap/space between the carriage and the next one in front of it... away from the battle, keeping to the other side if need using the carriage as s shield from crossbow bolts. As they move along, Boo looks to catch up where everyone is (positions) and who is or may be missing from her group wondering if they found the crate or not and if they are ready for extraction so that is what she is looking for... any signal from the others.Perception22
That is it for now so you can move on with the initiative order (that is her action) not wanting to hold things up, thanks.
Boo instructs Biff, who just answers with, "Rodger!". The sky coach kicks it up a gear as it flies beneath an arch that the lightning rail track is built on. The sky coach lines up on the other side of the carriage, the two flying vehicles flanking the same part of the lightning rail.
Majin unleashes another pair of shots from his pistol, the bullets striking through the studded leather of one of the two visible figures. Blood splats out of the wounds as the figure staggers, but doesn't fall yet. (DCF #4: 29 damage)
(Just to note, Eldin will need to dash to get to the far end of the carriage this round.)
Eldin goes over to the lever and pulls it to the downward position. There is a CLUNK noise as the bars seem to swing open, as crates begin to rock and threaten to fall off of the shelves as the lightning rail continues its path.
Dashing is good but if any of the crates begin to fall on Eldin, can he use a reaction to cast Feather Fall and make the crates not do any damage to him?
Going back to the format of the carriage, Eldin is stood beside the doors at the end of carriage 3. The crates line the two long walls on the shelves, so if they fall they'll only fall on anyone who is beside the shelves. Eldin's good for now.
However... There is the point that was brought up earlier about unrefined Dragonshards being a little volatile. Feather Fall is meant to be used on falling creatures, but I don't mind a bit of artistic license.

Eldin goes over to Edrick and looks at the bars. Is there any way to unlock them? Any thing Eldin can use his lockpick on?
The bars don't appear to have locks, but have hinges. Something external appears to control them.
(Hint: There is a lever on the far side of the carriage that no one has checked out yet...)
Eldin looks around and notices the switch. He approaches it and mutters to himself, "Here goes nothing!" and activates it.
(Just to note, Eldin will need to dash to get to the far end of the carriage this round.)
