Onji replies, I am no diplomat, if one of my esteemed silver tongue comrades chooses to go find out, I will be glade to act as a silent escort to them.
Dirk nods along as the mission to the graveyard is discussed even rolling out his map for notation as Tarak seems willing to give a location and some notation. When Tarak mentions Myconids Dirk coughs and sputters, "That's incredible I've never had the occasion to ahh to speak with any of their kind. I didn't even know that it was possible. It would be incredible to witness such entities. They are not dangerous, or I mean outright hostile? You are referring to the living fungus right?" Dirk who is normally very composed is literally shaking a little bit at the idea of meeting Myconids.

When Dirk and Tarak are updating the map Marin will have a look and point out the distance between the two locations as he asks, "How long do you think it would take to get from the graveyard to the myconids?"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"Well... they are not normally hostile, but they have recently created a giant fungal monster to guard the entrance to the caves," Tarak shakes his head in disbelief before his face suddenly falls. "I have serious concerns that something bad has happened to them, otherwise they would not do such thing. I have traded with them for years..."
"If you head to the graveyard now, you should make it to the caves after noon with a brisk pace,"he answers Marin, almost absent-mindedly. It's clear he is very worried about whatever ill has befallen the colony.
With a map and a request for urgency coupled with genuine curiosity Dirk is ready to go. “I’ll gladly check on your trade partners Tarak. Unless my friends have objections, if not let’s head out.”
Survival to stick with the maps directions. 8
Seems Dirk is distracted by the idea of meeting myconids.

“Oh your right Onji we do need to go left here, I just can’t stop thinking about meeting the Fun-guys. I’m not sure they even talk, but we’ll soon see.”

Marin does a quick check of his equipment before donning his backpack.
"Can we expect to find a Crypt Keeper, Grave Digger, or anyone of that sort... or is the graveyard unattended by the living?"
Marin will cast Druidcraft to get a forecast of the weather for the day.

Tarak seems happy that you've agreed to check on the mushroom people. He disappears for a moment in the small kitchen and comes back with a foul-smelling bag and two small bottles with redish liquid inside. "Please take these food scraps as a gesture of friendship to the myconids,"he says with an apologetic smile. "I have also prepared a couple of healing potions for you."
He hands you the two potions of healing and the bag. "They use the food scraps to nourish the fungi in the caves."
Once Marin waves good-bye and the group is underway he will draw his bow and carry it in one hand, "Just to be ready."

It takes the party about a couple of hours to reach the graveyard. There isn't a single soul in sight. The graves in the little clifftop cemetery are covered in white wildflowers and marked with simple wooden slabs. It isn't hard to find the one where Brastos was buried more than twenty years ago.
Dirk notices the very faint outlines of female human footprints and some kobold ones but nothing more. It seems the graveyard isn't a frequently visited place, but the inhabitants must be coming from time to time to pay their respects.
Irtos says, "I don't know if we need to dig him up to put it with his body, or if it's enough to lay in on the grave. Let's try the easy approach first..."
Irtos will lay the talisman on Brastos's grave and say a prayer for the parted lovers.
