The air in this cave is choked with thick smoke that assaults your nostrils with a pungent odour of brimstone. Strange, flickering orange light illuminates the smoke. This area is free of fungal growth; instead, crystals grow from the rock. To your right, a large cluster of purple crystals juts from the stone. On the far wall, a glowing orange crystal wedged into a fissure in the cave wall seems to be the source of the light. Streaks of soot trace a path along the cave walls between the purple crystals and the fissure.
As you enter, three creatures suddenly appear amid the sulfurous fumes. They look like little dragons, but formed entirely of greenish smoke.
Because I am in the front row with Dirk, I can still handle a 6 so if DIrk is amenable I can swap initiatives and take his 6. This I assume allows him to do what he needs to before the three smokey beasts show up.

A small, miniature raincloud forms above the creature, sending down a light patter of drops. As the water hits the creature's hot, smoky hide, it hisses loudly, sending up a miniature plume of steam. The drake shakes its head aggressively, thoroughly annoyed by the sudden dampness, but it takes no damage from the harmless spell. In response, it exhales a stream of scalding steam towards Dirk. Dirk, make a Dex saving throw, DC 11 to take half of 1 fire damage, or the full amount on a fail.

Fume drake 2 is going to run up and try and bite Onji Attack: 20 Damage: 5
Fume drake 3 is also going to exhale a stream of scalding steam towards Marin and Irtos. Marin and Irtos, please make a Dex saving throw as well, taking 7 fire damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful one. (DC 11)
Marin will use his free action to draw his shortsword and move up to strike at Fume Drake 2 (the one in melee with Onji) and then follow up with a dagger attack against the same one.

Irtos says a prayer as she Tolls for the Death of the Fume Drake that scalded her (#3). The single chime of a dolorous bell rings out again, heard by all within 10' of her target.

Just remembered that Irtos is part fire dragon herself, she's resistant to fire. Whew!
