"Well, I'm going to go freshen up." Dahme'dre says as her spectral hand moves the arm of the fallen creature from the stairs, and she heads down to the room.
Ashe gives a sly chuckle as the beast goes down. "Hoh hoh... Certainly, without my magic... we would have..." she falls over exhausted and bloody, "perished."Then she faints like the lady she is.

From the looks of her injuries, aside from a few key assists from her first mate and a couple crew members, Thuluku fought the manticore entirely on her own. The crew seems fairly bolstered by the display of strength from their captain. Thuluku, meanwhile, is covered in slashes and broken spines, but seems to be doing alright, if not a bit pleased with the display.
The crew meanwhile is taking care of disposing the manticore carcasses and putting to use what they can.

The other crew members appreciate the help and nod in agreement. One mentions, “Aye, you can’t really prepare for that kind of thing. You lot did well, could’ve gone a whole lot worse. Not sure the captain could’ve handled three at once.”
With that, if there are no objections, you may all take a long rest as the first day of travel passes.

Dahme'dre asks to try her hand piloting, if she may.
With so much free time on her hands, Dahme'dre hardly knows what to do with herself. Sketches in her notebook are more detailed than normal, with extra time given to each drawing.
She sketches Alijurn, hauling on a rope like he were one of the crew. Cupcake and Mondra'goran making some conspiratorial conversation. Wick playing at his Eukelute as he tells a group of grown men a ghost story.
Alijurn uses the day to learn the routines of the crew. Keeping a close eye on them to see if they're performing optimally. If any of them slack off he will tell them to get back to work. But not too harshly, after all, he is not the commanding officer.
Wick is going to spend some time bonding with both captains (Thuluku and Picardi). The watery one must have a little bit of time on her hands after the aes sedai takes the helm.
I'd like to learn a little bit more about her past and our destination.

The crew is busy maintaining a mixture of work and logistics, once again a strange contrast compared to the average ship. As your keeping a close eye, go ahead and make a Perception check.

You lean back against the railing of the ship alongside Thuluku. The triton takes a deep breath as she relaxes amidst the drifting stars. In conversation, you learn that she won the right to be the captain of this ship in graduating from her order, something that she calls the “Ritetide.” Evidently, she was the only one to earn such an honor. She also tells you that the city of Everywhere is a beautiful and dangerous one. A massive city of a demiplane, nestled between the realities of the planes. Creatures from every ilk dwell within and it’s doors lead to anywhere in the planar system. She tells you that it is held in check by it’s ruler, Kirkgrim, and monitored from the shadows. She hasn’t been there too often, but it’s a nice enough place.

As Dahme’dre places her hands on the wheel she feels her vision go tunnel and then expand beyond herself. The divine origin of her magic pulses through the ship as the sails unfurl and pick up speed. Her consciousness spreads throughout the ship as it begins to feel like a natural extension. She flexes the ropes and the sails tighten. While such a change in senses would disorientate many others, Dahme’dre seems to have a natural talent for flying this ship. Before long, Thuluku is kicking back and relaxing while you man the wheel. She seems quite content with calling over the occasional order to you while you take The Scylla for a joyride. Excellent work, you are closer to being proficient in these types of vehicles!

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alijurn keeps a close eye on the crew, keeping an ear open for how the captain commands the crew and how the crew of a spacefaring boat works. It's nice to know if he ever procures a ship of his own out in this strange plane.

As a former military man, you quickly adapt to Thuluku’s chain of command, and then improve on it. You notice that one crew member’s talents would be better served keeping watch, while another would be more adept at heavy lifting than logistics. Without pressing too hard, you completely reorganize the work order of the ship. By the time Thuluku comes below deck to see how your fitting in, you have kicked the crew into efficiency and productivity. Sometimes it just needs a keen eye to notice how to improve a platoon. For while you are on The Scylla, you have advantage on INT checks regarding the ship and it’s crew, as well as advantage on CHA checks when interacting with the crew. Excellent work, soldier.

Dahme'dre draws a bath for her dear, only slightly evil friend, and uses Prestidigitation to clean up her own make up and stray hairs.
