(OTHER OTHER OTHER NOTE: I don’t know how to change the tags but we’re not recruiting anymore sowwy).
(OTHER OTHER OTHER OTHER NOTE: I figured out how to change the tags!)
A powerful wizard has been drawing forbidden magic from an ancient dimension (again) and has begun causing the disappearance of multiple planets (again). It’s your job to find the wizard, stop him, and return the planets to our universe (again).
I’ll take 4 level 1 characters for this campaign, and I encourage homebrew for your PCs. You’re going to need some extra “oomph” to stop this buffoonery.
Post a link to your character sheets here plz.
(NOTE: 2024 RULES!!!)
(OTHER NOTE: if you are looking for a serious campaign with meaningful story, LEAVE…NOW…)
(OTHER OTHER NOTE: I can’t really run a serious campaign, so this isn’t going to be one!)
The campaign I was in just died/quit/ended, I had rolled 17 15 15 14 13 11 for a 2024 Barbarian Gnome named KiKi
Like many gnomes in his remote wilderness village KiKi was able to cast a a little bit of magic. But KiKi noticed he can do a bit more. a friend fell from a tree, Momo was able to go over and actually heal his friend. once while out beyond the safety of the village area, he and friend were attacked by a pack of no good creatures. Instinctively KiKi cast a poison misty spray, it chased that pack away, but the friends were all aghast. within a week KiKi was shunned by all and chose to leave his home. Knowing he was leaving, the village gave him a hero's send send off pooling resources too equip him. He was a beloved member, yet his magic was frightful and dangerous to all and especially the children, His bits of anger was a wildcard. So with a heavy heart the villagers gave him nice equipment, but still were glad to send him off. Momo unsure where to go started to head north.
Resentment of magic and those that use it started to fill him with a rage.

Thank you for putting this together, and thanks for the Homebrew invitation. His name is Rascal and he is a Kitteh species, which is a branch off of Tabaxi. He is/will be a Beast Tamer (hence Conjure Animals). While he is 20 years old, he is slightly larger than a 6-month-old kitten, which has pluses and minuses.

Just curious as I looked at your sheet, you move 10 feet, so how do you keep up with a party? You are small enough to ride on a PCs shoulder, but what about carrying your gear as well? I am just not all that familiar with something like this and how it works on the table?
Gear is also reduced in size and as such weight as well. To him a sickle is a long sword. His staff is but a small branch. But with his agility he is able to bring more momentum to the swing and thus the same damage. (or at least that's my theory) ;-)
OK. I was completely curious as only looking at the 2024, PHB every one is 30 feet of speed, and I SEE THE 2014 phb HAS DIFFERNCES, BUT NO IDEA HOW THAT WORKS.
Agreed, things keep changing between the versions. Going back to early versions, species (races) had significant pluses and minuses. strength, ability to do magic, etc.
Hello all, this is where we will start our campaign. Please provide a link to your character sheet. You are starting out in an important board meeting regarding the disappearance of these planetary bodies. The board director, Havamus Origik starts out by saying,
”Welcome, all! I hope you had an excellent Providence Day. Today’s topic is on the disappearance of the planet Solus X. This is the first planet take from a wildspace system that isn’t our own… Does anybody have anything to say in regard to information on its vanishing? Anybody willing to go on an expedition to that system, perhaps?”

Will it be posted here or somewhere else?

Perfect. It looks like we have 4 people. I find it easier to do in a PM so I’ll set one up.

I Can modify that. Thanks

If your boyfriend asks you to join his game, he really likes you ... and also, he needs a healer.
This would be a fun homebrew class to play, that I would create a character for ... Witch | Base Class - Mage Hand Press
