Switch weapons and close the distance to the two goblins to keep them from firing any more arrows and engage one of them.
Did you want to end your movement on the other side of the goblins, so that they are between you and the rest of the party or do you want to be between them and the rest of the party?

Good point, he wouldn't leave his back to the goblins further down the tunnel, plus he cannot make the leap of faith that anyone he is journeying with would have his back quite yet... so he would try to split the difference and move below (south?) of the goblins in the side tunnel to both engage and keep view west. He doesn't want to fully move behind them (east?) and risk having them move directly towards fellow party members who appear from the tunnel he just came from.
As the arrows fly past Pagan his head snaps toward the side tunnel. "Arawn beckons an cín faer Goblin!" he shouts angrily. He draws his shoto with a flourish and charges after Markas toward the would-be ambushers.

Are the two goblins at the end of the dead end corridor down? If not Amar will move and shoot at the remaining gobo down that path. Forgive me if I missed that detail parked on 101....
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Brumdal
Salty, I'm assuming you are super busy in real life, so I'm making your move for you. Jump in and change things if you want.
Brumdal charges forth to place himself between any oncoming goblins near the cave entrance and the rest of the party. He spies one of the goblins around the corner with his [darkvision] and hurls a javelin at long range to hit it!
Those arrows probably zipped right passed Pagan as well, so he’s immediately aware.
Markus yells back at the party "Ambush in the side tunnel!" as he flinches back from one arrow that came a little close.
I can't remember, would it burn his action to switch to swords from his bow?
Preferred: Switch weapons and close the distance to the two goblins to keep them from firing any more arrows and engage one of them.
Alternate: He'll step out and shoot an arrow.
You can switch weapons for free.
In general you will be able to switch for free, but there might be cases where you would need to drop something, like a torch for example.
Also if we’ve established an item is hard to get at (i.e. buried in your backpack) then that might take longer.
Here’s a list of things you can do for free from the basic rules.
INTERACTING WITH OBJECTS AROUND YOU
Here are a few examples of the sorts of thing you can do in tandem with your movement and action:
Did you want to end your movement on the other side of the goblins, so that they are between you and the rest of the party or do you want to be between them and the rest of the party?
