You conclude your visit with Lhodis, Laressa, and Moine.
You will need to decide what you are doing with the dagger and the gold.
Also, let me know what business you would like to attend to before you leave once again for the Caves. I’m assuming you will leave in the morning unless something delays your departure.
There is no cost to sleeping at the keep tonight. You can sleep at the Guild House, the Inn, or the Stables.
If you want to buy anything, just use the price lists I posted earlier.
If you want to sell anything, let me know what you want to sell and where and I’ll resolve it.
There is also the bank if you want to store things.
One last thing if you are planning to be gone for more than a day, consider your rations and water supply. I’m assuming your refilling your waterskin as you can. You need a gallon per day. A waterskin holds a half gallon.
I'm assuming Amar purchases earlier in the day are concluded (caltrops and iron spikes). Amar will turn is new "fame" into a an additional waterskin of mead.
Zerys will stay at the Inn while Amar (and waitress?) will retire to the guild house. Zerys and Amar will each pick up an extra waterskin and get them filled (that is 2 new for Amar and 1 for Zerys). Zerys will not explore the guard portions of the keep; convinced it's probably what it seems.
I propose we just split the gold as evenly as possible. I know that Sourcerers have a proficiency with daggers but the background of Amar the notion of a magical dagger doesn't move him beyond it's value. Thus I'd propose we randomly assign it an owner.
Everyone is proficient with daggers, so everyone can wield it effectively.
Amar has no luck with the waitress. It becomes apparent that the man in the back is likely the girl’s father. You become worried the establishment’s charity will disappear and you all might suddenly be stuck paying after all.
An even split of the gold is fine with Markas, he shows no interest in the Dagger. He will purchase a second waterskin and make sure both of his are filled.
If nothing else seems to be happening he'll tell everyone he'll see them in the morning and head back to his room for rest and contemplation.
Pagan lifts the dagger up and holds it ceremoniously with the tip to the sky. "Rod plural rodyn accuracui polod a vera. May this blade protect us, as we protected you Good People." He affixes the blade to his side with his Shoto. He bows deeply with his hands together.
"I must meditate," he says. "Please excuse me."
Pagan will return to the Guild House to prepare himself for tomorrow.
Dark, stormy clouds greet you the next morning as you depart once again for Caves. The weather is coming in from the east and you guess you will get wet if you delay your departure.
Referring to the map you could take the road straight to the caves, you could retrace the route you took yesterday, or you could blaze a new trail.
Which path will you take?
Also let me know if there are any changes to marching order or other activity from yesterday.
Amar contemplates his universe, will the waitress be a waiter tomorrow? Much has changed. Amar eyes follow patrons, maybe something there?
Amar has no success finding love for the evening It is challenging because the keep is so small and everyone likely knows everyone else’s business. A larger settlement might be better for carousing. (Amar is very charismatic, so he shouldn’t have problems.)
Here is a revised map of the ravine where all the cave entrances are. The labels are different from my earlier (crappy) map, but I indicated which cave you went into (D - Goblins) and came out of (F - Hobgoblins).
You are not here yet, but you know the lay of this land, so you can use it to plan your approach.
You can click the Long Rest button on your character sheets to automatically restore your hit points and limited use actions. (Let me know if you need help with this. The UI is a little wonky.)
@Brumdal and @Zerys need to select which spells they want prepared. (Once you click Long Rest it will just default to what you had prepared yesterday.)
Also you can each add 17 gold pieces (for splitting the 100 gold six ways).
Javon also agrees that dealing with threats from the Caves is important and is happy to go that way.
Javon also went to the Loan Bank and consolidated his coin down so he wasn't carrying that much. If you want do that as well you can, but it probably won't matter as far as weight carried (encumbrance) goes right now.
Markas will offer to lead again as he feels comfortable with the terrain. He's okay with whatever cave entrance the party agrees on, there's valid arguments for both new and old.
Amar, seems a bit frustrated this morning even with a waterskin full of mead, clutches his mace in a tight fist. "Let's go to the cave from yesterday. Explore the other direction, its seems odd goblins, and hobgoblins working together, let alone their pet Ogre. There's more to find and maybe a leader. We won't keep the roads safe from banditry forever but maybe put a dent into it. Besides I feel like smashing a few things ..."
"I believe the door we used to exit the Caves was barred behind us," Pagan recalls. "We should go to the first entrance."
Pagan is keeping a keen eye out for trouble as we march toward the Caves. We did let an Evil Orc and a crazed Dog-man loose in addition to the usual denizens yesterday.
Your travel is uneventful up to the point where the river, road, and woods are closest to each other. You enter the woods as before and you see that the ground is more disturbed than it was before. More tracks are evident as if there has been a lot of activity in this spot.
Brumdal agrees with Pagan. "Agreed. We should return, clear out the caves, and make the road safe for travelers."
You will need to decide what you are doing with the dagger and the gold.

The waitress does look a bit young as well.

Regardless of his success he'll see the party bright and early with water and mead skins

Zerys suggests we follow the known path to the caves, as we barely scratched the surface yesterday

We could enter the goblins and head left as opposed to right.
Also your long rest would be complete now.
You can click the Long Rest button on your character sheets to automatically restore your hit points and limited use actions. (Let me know if you need help with this. The UI is a little wonky.)

1 platinum = 10 gold
1 gold = 2 electrum = 10 silver = 100 copper
Markas will offer to lead again as he feels comfortable with the terrain. He's okay with whatever cave entrance the party agrees on, there's valid arguments for both new and old.
Zerys and Amar happily agree to Markas suggestion. With Pagan bringing up the rear.
Amar, seems a bit frustrated this morning even with a waterskin full of mead, clutches his mace in a tight fist. "Let's go to the cave from yesterday. "Everybody stay alert," Pagan says quietly, "We may have guests." His hand rests upon his Shoto
