"Ahg!" Cora got hit, but she didn't even feel it. It was more the surprise of it. She accepted the blow, but it just made her angrier. Like some unstoppable animal, she counterattacked.
Main Attack: 10 Damage: 9 Off Attack: 11 Damage: 3 Sneak 2
The angrier she got, the sloppier she became. She couldn't explain it. At least, not today.
Yasei lets out a war whoop, "Ai yi yi yi!", while spinning around and lunging towards E5. Continually spinning like a cuisinart, she slices away at E5:
Nice! Those who passed managed to get enough sustenance to push on, and refill Ruxio's water skin. Ruxio's weapon stands out to you all, as it's nothing like you've ever seen.
You may have a short rest here if needed, before moving on. You're in Area 1, come from Area 6.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Standing up, Yasei begins to dust herself off. "That was....unexpected."
Visibly annoyed at being taken surprised, she closes her eyes and begins to recite the mantra: "A truly brave man is ever serene; he is never taken by surprise; nothing ruffles the equanimity of his spirit. In the heat of battle he remains cool; in the midst of catastrophes he keeps level his mind. Earthquakes do not shake him, he laughs at storms." Continuing, "We admire him as truly great, who, in the menacing presence of danger or death, retains his self-possession."
Shaking her head clear, she begins to pace around the area (area 1), looking for further signs of danger: (Perception 21).
"Ah. Yes." Cora nods in remembrance. "That's one of my favorite verses of wisdom you used to say." She shrugs and take a sample of the water she drew from the dead cactus creature.
Yasei spots movement from a figure in the next room, in area 3 which is extremely dark. When you spot it, Ruxio follows your gaze into the next room and cocks his weapon. He nods in that direction subtly with an eyebrow raised. The figure looks like it's... coming your way!
Yasei gently shoves the muzzle of Ruxio's weapon down so it's not pointing at him, and then casually walks up to Bobo and places her hand on his shoulder. "Welcome back, friend. We were worried sick at your sudden disappearance, and I apologize, but our thoughts strayed to the worst possible outcomes that could have befelled you. Glad to see that you are okay, Mr. Garlic-san."
"Oh!" Cora says, mildly surprised, but clearly annoyed. "There he is! how about you stick with the group and stop running away? You have a habit of doing that, it's getting annoying." She then shakes her head, as if she couldn't believe she would say such a thing to someone she didn't know - like trying to shoo a fly away mentally. "Ugh, my head hurts.."
Bobo’s large robes are covered in a large amount of sand, which continuously slides off of him with every step, marking his footsteps with the silky sound of streams of sand sliding off the rouge fabric and onto the stone floors. The large orc looks... slightly melted, like a wax statue left out in the desert. Oh and very very gray, nearly looking like a giant lump of clay at this point.
”Yyyourc leeed fo to feverst, abba foodt ahhhed nah.” His voice sounds very wet, like a phenomena victim decided to go skinny dipping into the ocean, and then stuffed their face with peanut butter.
The large orc man sways dangerously, like a very large drunk man who had an eventful night out on the town. The orc tips forwards, sand spilling faster and faster as he face plants onto the stone floor with a oddly small smacking sound, not befitting the large mass the man seemed to have.
Before any of you could start moving forwards to help, you notice the fabric of his cloth seems to deflate to nearly nothing in the arm, leg, and head area, as if he just lost the extremities. However, the torso and pelvic area seems to be... pulsating, the fabric raising and falling without rhythm or any other disernable pattern before eventually settling.
Where the orc man once... laid, there’s now a large pile of fabric, with a somewhat notice bump in the middle of it, like a dog or small child hiding under blankets.
Ill be home shortly

E2 goes down in Cora’s fury, spinning around as it hits the dust.
Only one to go! Standing around 10’ away from Yasei, who is up next!

Cut into pieces, the last blight falls. The parts of the cactus thud softly as they hit the sand.
If you hurry, you can still salvage some water with a DC 14 nature check!

Haha ill do that when I get home.
Yasei quickly lunges towards the falling / leaking cactus body pieces, attempting to save the precious water from draining out in the sand: 5
...and instead, comes up with a handful of sand, missing the cactus pieces completely.

Cora settles down from her murderous rage, and settles down faster seeing she's able to drain one for it's water.

Cactus water is surprisingly sweet.

Cora squinted at Bobo, as if she didn't understand what he was saying. Which she didn't. "Hey." She called out. "You ok? You don't sound so good."
"Wha- who- you know this thing?" Ruxio stammers.
"I think it needs... water?"
