The tingling down Cora's spine stops and all you can feel is a sharp prick in your neck. When you go to swat away what you thought was a bug, you find a small, light wood dart with two dark wood rings around it in the side and a feather on the end of your neck.

Seeing the dart that Cora picked from her neck, Yasei rapidly draws both blades and goes into a ready state, expecting an attack at any minute. (Perception: 5)
The sands swirl ominously around the area you’re in. Three possible locations strike you fit for an assassination. The top of a rocky outcrop... but that seems so far away. Over any number of dand hills too. No idea where it came from.
what are your plans? You could persue and sweep the area, or head back to the guild. You could even camp out and try to investigate the scrap ruins again.
"Let's get outta here." Cora suggests. "Dani needs to heal up and I think someone is trying to snipe us. To the Guildmobile! Oh wait. Nevermind. Let's move!"
You manage to trek back to the lodge without too much trouble. It's a tiresome journey for those who are already so exhausted. It's early evening by the time you arrive.
Beast Hunter's Guild As you arrive, Mr Bradley greets you at the enterence, paying no mind to the condition that you're in and addresses you in the same manner as he always does.
"Welcome back, adventurers. I trust your stay was a success- or you'll be out tomorrow." He motions towards the cleansing stone inset in the short pillar on your left. Upon touching it, once again, prestidigitates your entire body and weapons. Unfortunately, it doesn't make your fresh wounds feel much better. "Ensure that you approach the Guard Barraks if you have indeed returned successful from your hunt. You'll be able to exchange your trophies for rewards there." There seems to be a crowd already gathered around the fighting pits and the bar this evening.
Map:
As you enter each of your rooms, you find they have been cleaned and beds remade. A small, neatley folded washcloth and a tiny vial of red liquid with golden flakes in it is waiting for each of you on your beds. (A tiny potion of healing- cherry flavoured! Restores 1d4+1 hitpoints)
OOC: Does that cleansing stone de-rust our weapons?
Yasei hardly makes it up to her room, when she stumbles dejectedly into her bed, and immediately falls asleep on the top of the covers (not even spending the time to get underneath the covers). Audibly snoring quite loudly, she sleeps through the entire night without even waking to go pee. She'll take care of selling her collected rust bug antlers tomorrow.
NOTE: She'll pocket the healing cherry bomb for later use.
Cora smiles and nods at Dani’s suggestion. After that business is taken care of, she’ll let everyone know she’ll be at the bar having a drink, and sit down and order one.

OOC: Did we get a short rest on the way back?
If short rest occurred Rosli will immediately go to the fighting pits stumbling more and more as she draws closer to the crowd, if not she will join Cora for a drink until she feels a little more rested.
Yep, the cleansing stone removes the rust points you've accumulated on your weapons.
Yep! A short rest can easily be taken once you arrive back at the guild, as can a long rest (as Yasei demonstrated) Remember that you don't need to actually sleep over an entire long rest. You can do mundane tasks like chilling out, eating, drinking etc... but fighting will interrupt this.
As Rosli stumbles up to the pits, the numerous orcs, hobgoblins, and goblins give you a look which seems to have then convinced you've spent all afternoon at the bar. The crowd seems to be gathered around the pit, exchanging gold with bookies and a buzz of excitement fills the air. (Updating soon)
Cora and Dani head down to the Barraks where a small service window is located near the Bounty Board. A heavy set half-orc woman is leaning on the counter and greets you upon arrival. " 'Ello small fry. What have youse brought me today?" (You receive 50gp per pair of antennae)
In the morning, refreshed Yasei will go sell her rust bug antennae to the half-orc gal down in the barracks. She’ll then go grab a bite to eat and then check out the library. She wants to see if there are any books on the history of the area.
Cora has Dani sit next to her, drinking and eating. She engages in conversation with Dani, general questions about her past. Since Cora doesn't remember much, she spends most of her time talking about her getting to know her better. She's not pushy, or aggressive, but it's clear she enjoys every moment sitting next to her.
Yasei: I’ll put the morning research on hold slightly while we get through the evening while you’re past out in your room :p
Cora and Dani share a few drinks over roast beef and local cooked vegetation similar to pickled cabbage. You look on to the commotion happening over the fighting pits. You can see Rosli nosying her way up to the edge.
All three of you feel him before you see him. A huge thud, thud, thud of slow and heavy footfalls. Down from the staircase and through the main hall, you see an enormous orcish man making his way through the crowd which part instinctually. He walks with purpose up to the stage and takes a seat at the very back where a large tankard of ale awaits him. He stands around 10’ tall, donns double axes crossed at his back and wears a number of trophies over his body as armour. A fur cloak made from a felled beast covers his head and drapes over his shoulders.
Xolag- Feller of Titans
He quietly takes a seat, looking out over the silence. He looks over the crowd- then locks eyes with Rosli. A grin spreads accross his face and he holds his tankard up. “YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!” He yells, and is reciporicated by every hunter on the floor.
A charasmatic, small Goblin swings down from the cieling somewhere on a little swing. He wears a classic blue wizards robe with glittery stars all over it which is comically way too long on him. It probably used to belong to a human wizard- and a tall one at that. He holds a wand to his throat, amplifying his voice and projecting it in a very surprising tone. A loud, charming deep presenter’s tone of voice- not the small, raspy tone of Goblind traditionally.
“Ladies and gentlemen, hunters and gatherers! Welcome. To. Fight Night! May I introduce our reining champ— Lance the Dancer!!!”
An absoloutley stunning man suddenly appears through the croud. Showered by sparks and glitter, he jumps down in to the 15’ pit. He weilds a long, steel polearm with red leather grip and brass fittings. He flourishes it around his body, commanding small particles of sand on the battle pit floor dance around him. He offers a large bow to the audience as a mix of cheers and boo’s emit from the croud.
“Very niiiiice” says the announcer. “Obviously in form tonight! Do we have a challeng- wahey!”
The announcer is interrupted by a big yell as a full orc warrior leaps in to the ring, long sword raised above his head while Lance is still deep in his bow. “Rrraaashhh!” In one seemingly quick flourish, Lance juts the butt of his polearm out and winds the orc mid flight! He falls to a heap on the ground, as Lance performs a summersault, bringing the middle of the polearm down on his head in a non-lethal blow. A loud crack is obvious though, and the ‘challenger’ begins to drool.
“That’s a K.O!” The announcer calls. The crowd erupts and two guards collect the unconcious body of the orc and tend to his condition. A murmer spreads around the crowd as the exchange of coins is being made before the next challenger, giving you a moment to act in this situation.
Still swaying and fighting to stand in her spot Rosli will sift through her pocket and withdraw the fight ticket she took from the poster earlier that day. Quickly glancing it over she will hold it high in the air, not really sure what she should actually be doing.
Cora, doing her best to eat as politely as possible, barely stifles down a burp as she says to Dani. “Eh. That guy with the toothpick don’t look so tough. Rosli could take him.”
As inconspiculously as possible, Cora looks around for the woman who she encountered the night becore.

Healing 4 points.

“Heh.” Cora giggles under her breath. “Small fry” Then louder, “Here ya go, sweet cheeks!”
Then she will collect the money, and go get something to eat and drink.
Danica follows, deciding that some food and drink will go nicely after a job well done.
