Masters of Eothia 1-20

"None of you..knows.." Crispy said to herself, watching Yasei look at the weapons and drool. So that might mean we're all from..someplace else. Why did the teleporter bring me here, though. Something must have gone wrong. This unknown place, the lapse in memory..the calculations were perfect, but..here I am. Not even Yasei knows. But..Nim and I went over the numbers and schematics for MONTHS. Well. It doesn't matter now. Everything is destroyed. Now all that's left is..THIS place. I must have ditched my things in my amnesia..****.

I must know what this place is. And, now Aerik has returned. Something is not right.

Almost forgot...

"And Cora-san, this is Watatsumi, my new friend.  Does he look familiar?  Ring any bells?"

Crispy shook her head. "No." she says, with a slight look of curiosity and wariness. "Does it bite? Or eat cats?"

Rosli. Staying out of it's reach is a good idea! It completely ignores the food and continues to thrash around frantically. It has a look of pure fear in it's eyes.

Yasei, Dani and Cora: Feel free to add those items to your inventory :)

Rosli will just sit and talk to it until the others arrive trying to calm it. 

When you sit down, it seems to calm a little. Roll another check with adv :)

Just barely audible from inside the weapons room, Yasei can make out the sound of thrashing in the distance.  Immediately pulling out her daisho, she sprints out of the room and towards the sound, whilst calling back over her shoulder to Dani and Cora "It's a scuffle!  Where's Rosli?"

Yasei will sprint towards the sound of the 'scuffle'.  (aka she's running to where Rosli is)

Danica cursed under her breath and quickly followed Yasei.

Following Yasei and Dani to where Rosli was, she looks at the creature and rolls her eyes, and snorts in a quick chuckle. "Oh look, the cat found her mother. Can we get out of here now? Some of us have things to do and questions to answer." 

18 Animal handling

Sitting like she's getting ready to meditate Rosli will talk in a low monotone voice to the creature "If you calm down we can let you go, I promise we wont hurt you."

Crispy raised an eyebrow at how well the cat calmed the bulette down. Rarely had she ever seen such animal handling skills. Of course, she would never admit that to her.

OOC: No rush but how is the chain secured to the beast? Would Rosli know if it's easier to get the piton out or to unchain the beast?

Slowly turning to the group "We should set it free and I don't think he will hurt us." glancing at Cora but not trying to make it obvious "Nobody likes to be chained up."

Turning back to the beast Rosli will try and slowly put her hand on it's head ready herself to be attacked (dodge). If it lets her touch it she will rub his head a bit.

"The thing about being chained up," Crispy adds, "it might release the beast inside. If that thing gets violent on us, i'm killing it."

"Go ahead, but be ready for combat - just in case."

[oh dayum, nat 20. What do you wanna call your new pet? Lol]

Rosli seems to strike a cord with the large beast. Perhaps it’s not used to humanoids lowering themselves to it’s level, or talking to it calmly. It begins to hum in a low, repeatable growl as if it’s calming it’s self down. It’s breathing slows and it looks at you more curiously.

You can see an easily removable steel spike through a link in the chain around it’s neck which would be easy for you to remove, but impossible for it. It allows you to touch it, but you’re unsure whether it even frels your paw on it’s hide. You all press against a wall as Rosli takes it’s chain link out. The huge, rusted metal chain coils on the ground like a heavy metal snake. The Bulette moves abruptly to the exit if the room before looking at Rosli again. It’s deep, wild eye oozing a look of thanks and confusion before it hustles directly out of the cave with a limp.

Danica blinked at that. "Well. Okay then."

With a beaming smile Rosli will scan the group "Should we leave or do we want to finish searching the cave?"

“Glad we got that out of the way.” Crispy moaned, “Lets quickly search the rest of this place. It might hold some answers im looking for.”

Hearing that Rosli will bound off in search of undiscovered treasure in the cave.

when she comes up to rooms she hasn't been in yet she will take it slow and also look for traps.

Good lord, man, share some of those nat 20s with the rest of us!?!

”Yes, that is an agreeable idea. Let us search the rest of this cave complex for anything useful to understanding this world, and why we’ve all been brought here by unknown forces for unknown win reasons.  Hopefully Cora-san can find something to shed some light on her mystery, most of all!”
