Caine hears the words of the bandit hostage taker and like most young adults with no life experiences that are thrown into a violent situations the farmboy is frozen into a lack of inaction.

Mia’s had some… difficulties, shall we say, with bandits in the past, so she’s in full fight or flight mode.

The bandit’s mention of Vaelith draws the faintest smile from Lethira. Not because the mockery affects her, but because he invokes the name while hiding behind another man.

“You’ve misunderstood the hills,” she says calmly. “And Him.”

Her hand lifts slowly from her side, fingers tracing a subtle motion through the air like water turning quietly around a drain.

“Oraveth… PRAY.”

The final word settles differently than the rest, louder and heavier somehow.

“If you’re going to speak Vaelith’s name,” she says softly, “you should try doing it honestly.”

Action: Cast Command to have Big Dummy Pray

On her turn, Mia will cast Chromatic Orb on Meathead.

The thug’s eyes roll back into his head as he drops to his knees, arms outstretched as if in supplication, head back at an unusual angle. “What is happening?!?” One of the other bandits asks him in terror, with no response from him.

Lethira, will NOT finish the thug. There was mention of a female leader, I believe? So it would be her preference to have him OR one of the other remaing bandits alive, to entertain some....follow-up questions..... So imaybe a non-lethal bonk on the head....
