Keep in mind now that those without dark vision are relying on candles or Yuki's dagger to see.

Yuki moves towards the mushrooms and uses Detect Magic.

 Once Yuki joins Charles with Detect Magic cast she notices a couple emanations but not from the mushrooms.  The shoes Kat was given and the berries that the dryad gave to the group.

Plus with her light spell she notices as she passes Xolan a set of steps off to the right.

Yuki goes to the second position of the group, concentrating on Detect Magic. "There is a path off to the right, let's investigate."

If you concentrate on the auras of the items you detect; the shoes have an aura of transmutation, and the berries have an aura of abjuration

Charles leads the group through the right path, slowly but surely, ready for anything to happen.

 As you ascend the stairs out of the darkness you hear large webbed feet slap the stone floor and from out of the air two bullywug land right in front of you, "SUR Sur-prise 'Croak' food."  They initiate combat with surprise meaning everyone gets disadvantage on initiative.

OOC- I’ll give a couple hours and bump to the next initiative.  That way combats don’t necessarily go for days (hopefully that works, I’ll try to not target PCs not active in combats but if they are the last standing, I’ll improvise)

Are we gonna have access to the vtt or just run it entirely in here

Pip, Suri, Yuki Charles turn in whatever order, then BW2 is up.

Circle of Spores would’ve been interesting.

Pip moves into position and sees the bullywugs and casts a spell (see map online, the red circle), he casts sleep on them, they need a DC 13 wisdom save.  “Hopefully there are not more of them!”  If they fail the save, they are incapacitated.  

Yuki casts Spellfire Flare on BW2, 13 for 10 damage.

(Sorry, Kat is back now... I'll try to catch up as soon as we get back around to her turn)

Pip's sleep and Yuki's spellfire flare fail to take hold on their intended targets.

Charles and Suri's turns

Hey, the vtt isn't working for me, so just assume Charles moves over to BW2 and uses shocking grasp, 9 to hit on #2 for 3 damage

Suri moves to see what is happening and casts Frostbite on BW2, CON save DC 13 - 2 cold damage on a failed save.

OOC - it's very late where I live and I have to go to sleep. If Suri's turn comes up before I'm awake, she can take the dodge action.

These Bullywugs were prepared to fight they weave and roll as the attacks come at them, however BW2 catches Suri's snowball right in its open mouth, 'Gulp' instant panic and brain freeze as it tries to spit but its tongue is stuck...

It actually tries to hit Charles but swishes away not wanting to receive a shock from his electrified hand...

Mellow and Xolan's turns

Xolan rushes up next to Charles, "I can help, grrr!"  He lashes out with a dagger.  Movement 20' toward BW2, Attack 17 damage 5 +2 sneak attack.

The bullywug's eyes bulge as a toad stabs him with a dagger, "O O O O Rib It"
