Soren nods as Buppido explains this to him, then refocuses on Mirelle and Shade as they get closer, with the latter suggesting they talk to the imprisoned Drow. Soren hadn't noticed him, probably due to the newness and chaos of the cell, but feels pretty dumb when he begins to think about it. His brow knits for a moment, then he nods.
"Aye, well enough." He says, his attention turned to the dark elf. "You may lead the talk, if you want. I'll jump in if I see an opportunity."

Finn tilts his head and says to Nyskira "Maybe it its paranoia but the rest is true. We need our gear and Sloopbludop sounds a good place to head to though first we need to get out of here"
*OOC: Pretty sure that Soren was talking to Shade and Mirelle before we walk over to talk to the Drow prisoner.*
Assuming that Soren and Mirelle walk over to the Drow prisoner, Shade follows them. As one of them kicks off the conversation with the Drow, Shade stands quietly behind Mirelle. In the dim light of the pen, he's a big, dark figure that looms up behind the smaller tiefling as though she has an oversized, menacing shadow. In the faint light of the pen, his eyes seem to glow green in his dark face. Shade hopes that his presence will make the Drow more cooperative. *Possible Help to intimidate or persuade the Drow prisoner to talk? Shade can make a pretty menacing growl, if needed.*
The wizards also seemed to be concerned about Drow plants, but Shade wasn't sure why. In any case, Shade hasn't seen anything that looks like a bush, tree, or any other "plant" in this relatively bare chamber. Except for perhaps Stool -- mushrooms are a sort of plant, right? But he's certain that they can trust the innocent little sprout.
The wizards' concerns do prompt Shade to wonder whether the Drow prisoner might try to buy his freedom by telling the other Drow (their captors) about any escape plans. He watches the conversation carefully, trying to decide whether they can trust this dark elf. In particular, he's trying to determine whether the Drow prisoner is lying or holding anything back in his conversation with Soren or Mirelle.

Shade also speaks Elvish: his tribe used to trade with a community of "wild elves." He may not be as fluent as Mirelle or especially Finn, but traveling with them has giving him a chance to practice and learn more Elvish.
Shade doesn't know what it means for the Drow to have memories of holes. Maybe that's normal for creatures who live underground? He gives Sarith an appraising look and makes a non-committal grunt. He asks (in Elvish):
(in Elvish)"You do not know what you did wrong, but did the others not tell you why they brought you here? Did they accuse you of some crime?"
*@LinkArcher - Don't forget. ⤴ Based on Sarith's answer and also on what Sarith originally told Mirelle, does Shade think that the Drow is telling the truth here and not omitting anything?*
