Jojo sees that there are 6 kobolds and two cultists. They apparently are looking for people and not openings.
JoJo whispers to Cass his findings then steps back to quietly inform both fuzzpaw and Neega. JoJo has his hand on Fuzpaw's shoulder and gives him the sign language for hostiles and the number of them. Doing it twice to push the message across. JoJo knows that everyone's lives may hang in the balance if fuzzpaw does not begin to understand the simple signs like this.
Hello hello, I am Mr. Dicestone, a fellow adventurer and Planeswalker, enjoying the realm of wonders and wizardry and clicky math rocks. When not crafting the wonderful and whimsical world of Dan-thurás, I’m also working on custom spells and subclasses (hopefully coming soon to a forum or campaign near you) and other enjoyable settings for people to experience or staring with my third eye into space, rolling dice for no reason
Cass waits until the last of the kobolds and cultists begin moving toward the phantom voices before carefully fitting the key into the lock. The gate opens slowly, while his attention remains fixed on the raiders investigating the hushed voices. “Knew a scout named Rellan Pike who used to say that the purpose of a distraction is not to fool the enemy forever, only long enough to be somewhere else when they realize the truth,” he whispers.
Once the opening is wide enough, Cass motions the others through and slips into the night behind them. After ensuring the entire group has cleared the tunnel entrance, he quietly pulls the gate shut once more and turns toward the temple, content to leave the raiders searching for ghosts while the living move in the opposite direction.
Unfortunately, the raiders have stopped entirely near the exit, listening for whence the sounds have come, but they’re not going to notice the crew exiting yet.

*They have stopped about 20 feet from the exit to the right—moving left to right from character POV. They apparently aren’t looking your direction*

JoJo confers with Cass, we are not very stealty....do we just try to get behind them but prepare for the worst? I fear waiting on the perfect moment may never come?
We are basically damned if we do, and damned if we don't...your call, I feel you have more experience in command then I do...

They’re going to be distracted by the sounds.

Hushed voices.
in the opposite direction of where we need to go once we exit.

(OoC: Okay, can you give me more info about the raiders in terms of distance from or exit point so I can retcon post?)
