Cass pivots toward one of the remaining kobolds (#1) before the creature can recover from the sudden assault, keeping his shield between himself and any retaliation. “Knew a veteran named Gareth Stone who used to say that hesitation gives frightened enemies time to become dangerous,” he says in a low voice as he closes the distance. His mace rises only as high as necessary before descending in a short, controlled arc aimed at the kobold’s head and shoulder.
JoJo seeing Cass get to Kobold #1 pivots moves to Kobold #2, uses his leg to swipe the Kobolds knees then quickly follows up with a dagger to an exposed area of the creature. Looking for the throat to slice to keep him silent.

Unarmed leg swipe: 12 Damage: 9 (Bless to hit) 2 Total 14 to hit (I assume I broke his legs and as he falls)
Dagger to finish: 25 Damage: 6 (Bless to hit) 4 (during the fall, his vocal cords are silenced)
*and combat has ended. The kobolds and cultists are now ketchup splatters*

Hello hello, I am Mr. Dicestone, a fellow adventurer and Planeswalker, enjoying the realm of wonders and wizardry and clicky math rocks. When not crafting the wonderful and whimsical world of Dan-thurás, I’m also working on custom spells and subclasses (hopefully coming soon to a forum or campaign near you) and other enjoyable settings for people to experience or staring with my third eye into space, rolling dice for no reason
A low voice comes through the door, “what is the secret phrase?”

JoJo says, "Password 1...how in the hades would I know! the mayor sent us to stop the kobolds and cultists. We are covered in their guts, so we aren't very presentable to come to Temple start with. There is a battering ram at your front door, we want to get all of you out and save this place."
JoJo calls over the team to ask if any of them got a stinking password from the mayor.
Neega wipes her blade and sheaths it as she looks over the fallen kobolds and cultists, checking quickly for movement before her eyes lift toward the noise at the front of the temple. She steps close enough to the door for her voice to carry through, but keeps her shield and eyes turned toward the front of the temple.
“No time for passwords,” she growls through the door, low but firm, “Governor Nighthill sent us to evacuate you back to the keep. The raiders are down and the back door is clear for the moment, but the front door will not hold long. Who is in charge here?”
For a moment, Neega goes still. Her grip tightens on the rim of her shield as a strange discomfort passes through her, like some vast wheel of time and fate had caught, ground against itself, and stopped turning.
Her eyes narrow and one hand lifts to her temple, fingers pressing hard against the side of her head. She winces once, low and gutteral, then shakes the feeling off with a rough breath.
“Bad time for the world to seize up,” she mutters before her hand drops back to her shield. Her attention snaps back to the locked door, the voices beyond it, and the battering ram pounding somewhere at the front of the temple. “Open the door,” she growls again through the wood. “Time is running out.”

JoJo looks to Fuzzpaw, "do you hear the battering ram?"
JoJo heads to the backdoor and tries to see if it can be opened.
A low voice comes through the door, “what is the secret phrase?”
