Thorn wanders up from the basement for the third time. “There’s a lady in her underwear in the second box. I am thinking something went really wrong with date night. This one thawed yet?” He pokes the frozen dude. Then, because he can’t think anything better to do for ten minutes, casts Detect Magic as a ritual.

Thorn detects magic from the frozen man and magic from the basement.

“I am not going to kink-shame this couple. Although, this one is a bit hard to figure out” Thorn says scratching his head. “Anyway, I think we should see if the thawing-front-of-the-fire thing works on the dude works before trying it on the lady. Their frozen state is due to magic means, maybe magic is needed to return them to life instead of a room-temperature corpse.”  

OOC: Detect magic gives the school of magic. That might be of help to one of our spellcasters.

“The perimeter checks out, but we do not know what surprises the other ten houses of this village hold, and I would not want to find out after dark. I am going to take a quick look at the two neighboring houses.” Thorn walks around the two closest houses, peering in windows and doors (Perception 11 6).

The school of magic is conjuration..

Thorn sees normal house things, chairs, tables.

(And a 75 inch plasma TV with 4K resolution!)

”I was thinking the same, if we intend to stay here to night then we should search the town and make sure there is nothing else hiding here.” Luce says as he jumps up to follow Thorn out the door. 

He would be looking for tracks in the grass or dirt, showing signs of anyone coming through, as they walk between the houses.

Luce would like to continue past the first 2 houses as well. Being as quiet as possible in case anyone is around while he search’s.

Luce finds no living people in the buildings.

Thorn goes inside the first building closest to the bar and searches around inside for any clues ([Tooltip Not Found] 6) and Detect Magic.

It says tooltip not found, what skill is it?

There is only the clothes on the mummies, a couple are wearing robes.

Investigation. If there is nothing of interest, he moves on to the next house to check out that flatscreen (Investigation 8) and Detect Magic.

Aegis draws his rapier and follows Luce out the door.

"I will assist," he says as he leaves.

He watches as Luce and Thorn investigate the buildings, then goes into one of the buildings that has not been searched yet.
