Kyu: In your near death paralyzed coma, you hear the whispers from a distant dark place in your head... "Utoooob, Utooooobbbb..." You sink into a poison slumber....
Bartimaeus: Your attack of opportunity missed as the spiders flee. You see the Eladrin wizard collapse from a spider bite.
Bartimaeus: (My bad he is Eladrin).. No reaction. He is very much paralyzed and his eyes are glazed over. You detect a pulse though. It would take some special healing you think.
Vappa: You are able to attack if you can/want to. Otherwise the spiders escape into the dark and you are all left at the scene in your respectable places.
Take a moment to describe what you all do post battle.
Barxik: The Halfling Rotleaf grunts to you, "Ah, not much of a fight, I'm off to track those beasts! Find me later, whistle like a sparrow and I'll come find ya!" He dashes out into the night with shortswords in hands and a grimace across his face. He seemed to think you were friendly enough.
Having no idea what an Eladrin is, Bartimaeus continues to think of him as a half elf, He ultimately decides not to eat him as the poison is still potent, throws the half elf over his shoulder and carries him back to the tavern, dropping him out front, then proceeds to search/butcher the spiders
Ironwall: Yeah it just is still up and moving, badly damaged though. Sorry to miss the description. It is gored up pretty good, if someone were to track it down further they could finish it off easy but that would take some Survival or Nature checks.
'The walls are not kind...' Vappa quietly grumbles as he kicks up to his feet. He is surprised at the prey fleeing so early, but only for a moment. He takes his short sword from his mouth and swings at the nearest one.
Nox released a breath that she didn’t realize she was holding. She knelt down near the eladrin and poked him in the chest. He was still alive, but those spiders had done a number on him. “So,” she said. “Anyone here able to heal?”
Ironwall: It does not take long to find him as you hear the slicing and gurgling of blood that Vappa, a Lizardfolk Monk, has displayed. Vappa finishes off the heavily wounded spider just as Ironwall walks up to the scene. Anybody outside spots a crafty dirty little halfling, Rotleaf, running out after the other spider into the dark alleys and streets.
Ironwall: I grunt at the lizard man appreciatively. "Where did they come from?" I say, doubting that there is much in the grisly scene that will point us toward an answer.
Nox: You are asking around for a healer but you realize, other than the other adventurers who took part in the battle, there are no more patrons or townsfolk. Everybody is gone and everything is quiet. Eerily quiet. You recall the rumors earlier about the haunted farm outside of town. There is a chill in the air now.
Everybody roll a Perception check to see what's happening..
Vappa: You see this happen perfectly, and it nearly blows your mind. As you are about to answer Ironwall something happens out in the dark. The fields outside town. There is a huge burst of crackling purple magic energy of some kind! It looks like some sort of huge portal opening up and an inky shadowy colossal form of something emerges at an alarming rate and bursts into the sky! It is hard for almost everybody else to even barely see what shape this thing is. But you see its true form just for a second. It is some huge Shadow Dragon of some kind, crossing into this plane from the Shadowfell.... It vanishes into the night sky with a terrifying roar...... A thunderstorm begins and you are all left alone in the dark, in what seems now to be an abandoned, broken down, alternate version of Bittborg.... How is this happening?

"Not all those who wander are lost."
I'll take my time in dropping to the floor, walk over to the half elf, nudge him in the side with my foot. Is there any reaction?
if not, then I'll debate whether a scrawny half elf would be worth eating

Did you get this one, Rotleaf?
