Carnan speaks with those in the manor "It is possible that we are short of funds for this project at present. I understand you have some resources from the previous encounters. Please cash in what you can and we can discuss repairs. In the mean time let's explore the neighborhood. I will go with Rin, anyone else is welcome, and learn about our neighbors." Carnan heads to the Tiger's Eye first to learn what he can. His plan it to visit the Tiger's Eye and then The Book Wyrm's Treasure before heading back the other way.
With high spirits and curiosity, Rindarius pads along with Carnan. The rogue's lifestyle choices haven't afforded him many opportunities to cross paths with a druid; so, the inquisitive Rin is eager to learn what he can about this rather intriguing fellow.
First thin you notice after opening the door is the sizzling sound of hot metal and a big cloud of steam before it dissipates you can hear a hammer repeatedly hitting the piece of metal. Hello and welcome! You won't find this quality in all Waterdeep - Says a crackling voice as the steam escapes from the windows the chimney a humanoid with ash-grey skin tone becomes visible - Are you looking for something specific?
Honey! everything is business with you - says a calm voice as her blue skin and hair waving in the air becomes noticeable, she looks at Flux for a while and then placing her hand at the base of her chin and squinting her eyes she screams delighted - I TOLD YOU WE COULDN'T BE THE ONLY ONES AROUND HERE! EMBRIC LOOK! LOOK!....hmm sorry for that it's just that you brought me back home, take a seat and tell us, how can we help you!? oh! by the way this is Embric and I'm Avi
As the steam hit him, Flux recoils with a low hiss. Shaken from his musings by it however, he calms to the point his hair wasn't weird lashing at the air. He still looked midly annoyed as he regarded the duo for a second or two more, then letting out a small huff. "A pleasure to meet you both."Flux gives Avi an awkward but toothy smile as he made his way over to any designated chair.
"I am Flux, Acolyte of Helm, and a new neighbor, I suppose. I'm -- I do apologize for that momentary rudeness. I-" He glances awkwardly over to the ash-grey humanoid -- a fire genasi, if his intuition served him right. "Am still not accustomed to such heat. Unlike you it seems." As he looks awkwardly between the two again, and shifts in his seat. "Which answers the one question."He muttered under breath, only to hurriedly aloud add, "I was hoping to do a bit of business. Namely in regards to replacing my old set of armor with something lighter. Like some Scale Mail." Flux draws out his chain mail for inspection.

A man dressed in sharp suit smoking a slim pipe greets Rin, he stands next to the opened door with a hand gesture that invites you to enter the building, inside is a regal apartment dimly lit by flickering oil lamps - Vincent Trench, a pleasure to meet you
Carnan finds Rindarius a curious companion as well. They walk to the Tiger's Eye and find it closed and locked. Carnan is thinking of just walking to the Book Wyrm when Rin knocks on the door. He raises his eyebrows "Ok, well we shall see if there is anyone willing to give us their time."

Embric gets closer to inspect the chain mail - Yes, scale mail should help you with mobility...I don't think I have anything that'll fit you, but that can be easily fixed - Embric goes behind a door and you can hear how he handles different pieces of metal, after a while he returns with a couple of steel plates - I can also arrange some pieces to represent helm's symbol. People ask for that a lot so it's no problem, it'll be 50 dragons -

I believe your the new tenants of the formerly abandoned manor, come on in...and let me introduce myself properly. I'm a private investigator, nothing escapes me, if there's a secret I'll find it for the right price - says Vincent before taking a couple of small drags at his pipe
Flux expression brightens up considerably, then falters at the last statement. "That would appreciated. Though, hm, if the chain mail alone will not cover the price, I do have an extra-" Flux fishes around in his pack for coin. While looking inside, he starts muttering numbers underbreathe in aquan flavored primordial before finally going on in common, "15 dragons to cover any, uhm, missing coin. Though if not, I am inclined to do so, if only for the extra mile you are going in adding the symbol." He admits, tail nervously hugging around his leg.

Rin, impressed with the dapper-looking fellow's attire, nods and says, "Good afternoon, Mr. Trench." He then glances at Carnan in an attempt to read whether the druid would like to accept the offer of entering Mr. Trench's apartment.
"Wonderful, Mr. Trench, we are the new proprietors of the old abandoned manor and I was lead to understand that this was a business establishment. Is that the case or is this your home. Or I suppose it could be both if you are a private investigator. Your services may come in very handy if we determine a mystery is afoot." Carnan looks at the Tiger's Eye sign wondering what it means. "I Like your sign but it sounds like this is your private establishment, we would love to share a moment with you before moving on." Carnan steps inside to continue small talk before returning towards the book store.
Rin resists the temptation to pepper Vincent Trench with a bunch of questions about his investigative work. "Farewell, sir,"he says as he departs for the book store with Carnan.
"Books, eh, Carnan?" says Rin, who hasn't found much use for the printed page during his lifetime. "They make good doorstops, right?"
"As I am not a wizard in the strictest sense so, yes, they might make good doorstops ... however they also, from time to time, have pearls of knowledge that can prove valuable. Be patient and we can see what kinds of books are here. My studies are focused on nature and preserving life. I enjoying reading about what others of my kind have found as they share what they learn from animals and wild things." They approach the Book Wyrm's Treasure and attempt to enter.

Hmmm I wasn't considering your old chain mail as part of the bargain... - Embric grabs the piece of amor and inspects it thoroughly - this would never compare to my craft and I don't see the point in accepting someone else's garbage.
Embric! I'm sure you'll find some use for that...do it for me - says Avi
All right, all right! Just give 15 dragons (gp) and that'll do it - says Embric with a hand on your chain mail.

The door is opened but no one seems to be around, after a few minutes an old and short dragonborn slowly walks down a stairs coming from a second floor. The color of his skin shows a faint golden shine.
Kebron wanders the neighborhood looking for where the local guilds might be, to inquire about getting the tavern repaired.
After exiting the Manor, a salty northerner yells at you - hey! Over here... - says without much intention of walking to you - Volo? I heard you were a writer, you don't look like one to me, people found out about your lies and changed profession?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

To Carnan and Rin:
You reach the door with the cat's eyes and even is past noon, the door is locked.
Rindarius raps his knuckles on the door a few times and says to Carnan, "I'll knock; you talk."
