The man says nothing (at least that would reach Kebron's ears) - so, you are not Volo, may I know why did you exited his building? Speak clearly I'm sure the authorities would love to hear an articulated explanation - says as he noticed people on the street started to pay attention to their conversation 

Kebron walks up to the man, walking with all the self assured swagger of a dwarf ready to take the conversation up a notch, sizing him up, stopping short of striking distance. "You don't know who I am, and I don't know who you are so why in blazes would I tell you anything?  Best get to explaining exactly who you be, before you keep on asking question that ain't your business.  Oh and be artsyticulated like with big pretty 5 silver piece words for the crowds.  We are entertaining the neighborhood now."

Flux's face remain placid, but his tail lashed angrily behind him at the ground from the insinuation. Taking a breathe, he looks to Avi and bows his head in thanks before passing over the coin. "If it will take some time to make the adjustments, I can return later? Though it has been some time since I've been among my own -- differing of bloodline though we may be, I do not wish to overstay my welcome." He admits. 

Rin meanders through the bookstore, feeling a bit out of place. Halfheartedly, he scans the titles on the books but doesn't actually take one off the shelf. He bides his time while Carnan searches for anything that might be useful. 

Carnan is pleased to make the acquaintance of Rishal and after looking around a bit asks "I am looking for topics that give more knowledge to Druids, do you have any interesting books on enchantment or evocation?  I have learned much on these topics in the past and am always trying to learn more."

(OOC: @Androsofthewoods, mostly trying to make small talk but if we end up knowing where to purchase spell scrolls or such that might be helpful.)

After talking with Rishal, Carnan and Rin will wander back to the manor.   He will look for the others and strike up conversation "So what are the next plans for your adventure team, or should I say our adventure team now that you are allowing my into this manor deal."

 It'll take a couple of days, mainly due some other things I'm currently working on, but I can deliver this to your house if you're fine with that.

I have a few things that you might find interesting - and he slips a parchment with a detailed list of spell scrolls - 

He then takes you to a section with teachings of the wild and nature. A couple of titles could've caught your attention.

Carnan comments to Rishal before they leave "These are indeed treasures, I don't see any that I am able to use currently but I will share this information with our partners.  Thank you so much.  You will definitely be seeing more of us."

"Well, I wonder how the others have fared," muses Rin as he and Carnan begin the return trip to the manor. "I hope Phrael kept his hands off my bottle of wine."

"Hn. See to to its deliver than." Flux gives one last bow to the duo, as well as a faint smile to Avi before taking his leave of the place to find his friends. "Now where in the world could those land walkers have gotten off to." He says aloud as he commenced his search. "I wonder if dear Phaerl ever find a buyer for that abomination's form." At the thought, Flux turns his attention towards searching for possibly magic oriented or alchemy shops.

 First thing that caught your attention were two buildings:
     Book Wyrm’s Treasure - bookstore is adorned with a charming sign of a gold dragon curled around a treasure hoard of books and scrolls.
     Corellon’s Crown - Three-story town house, the third floor of which has been converted into a greenhouse. Its translucent glass walls allow anyone on the street to see the rainbow of flowers blossoming within.

However, before being actually able to reach any of those places a stern voice stops you : 
I'm glad that I was able to find you without the rest of your company, you go by Flux, right? - says a female Tethyrian human clad in armor - I'm not sure what to make of them yet 

Both Carnan and Rin can return with no problem or relevant incidents, unless they decide to make another stop. 

Flux turns and raises a bushy brow at the woman. "I often find myself wondering the same thing." He folds his hands behind his back and closely looks over the woman. In time, a measure of admiration at her armor reaches his eyes before they harden as they meet gazes once more. "But you are correct in your assertion. I am the one known as Flux. How may be of assistance, Lady...?" He prompts.

My name is Savra Belabranta and I heard a about your doings and how you dealt with evil that was lurking just below our streets, I'm sure that's not the end of it and we will not rest until all evil is banished from the city. If you are interested come to the Halls of Justice, in the castle ward. You may bring your friends with you but only if you can vouch for them, but I'll be honest with you, we are only interested in you. - slips a little metal token depicting a gauntlet holding a sword -  I'm sure you'll feel comfortable around our company, should I expect you today?

Flux's expression remains speculative; but, he accepts the token without hesitation or complaint. "My Lord Helm has been most vigilant this day indeed, to have seen to it word reached such hollowed halls so swiftly." He finally gives a small but genuine smile. "Indeed you can, Lady Savra. At the very least, I will need to notify them of my plans. But you can expect at least me to be there within the next hour or so. Now if you would excuse me, I should be seeing to them sooner than later." Flux gives a polite bow before turning to continue his search for his compatriots.

 Kebron pats Mr Frewn on the cheek." Awww aren't ye adorable.  All full up on bravado and assumptions on what "my type" does.  Well neighbor I wont be crackin yer skull or anything."  Kebron takes a moment looking the man up and down.  "Not that ye'd be much of a challenge.  Look ya can't just come walkin up to strangers on a street and yell at them, expecting them to be all cordial and invitin like that yer yellin at them."  Kebron takes a relaxed stance and crosses his arms across his chest.  "Now I have lots to do today so iffin ya got some bussiness with me let's hear it, if ya are just being a nosey neighbor sniffin around seeing who the new people are, come back later tonight and we'll have a drink and ye can get to know the whole crew." 

Some of the neighbors that were watching the whole conversation applauded at Kebron's response and others laughed at Emmek.

Fine...I'll leave but don't even think this will be that last time you hear from me. 

After dealing with Emmek you hear a whisper that says:

“I am Vajra Safahr, the Blackstaff. Come to Blackstaff Tower in the Castle Ward at once. Bring your friends. Renaer was right, you're good"

Kebron grumbles under his breath  "Apparently someone wasn't listening when I said I gots lots to do today....but I'll make a exception for ya.  Time to go gather the band."

Kebron walks off to go find the others....trying to remember where they all said they were going.
