As the bolt whips past the old woman, landing with a hard thud into the thick wooden rafters above her head, she will turn and look towards the goliath and a very angry expression across her face. "YOUNG MAN I SUGGEST YOU GO OUT AND CHASE BIRDS FOR A WHILE UNLESS YOU WANT ME TO CALL THE GUARD ON YOU!" She will pause a moment to point an old shaking finger at Mo. "Now go get lost!" She will say before attempting to compose herself and make her way to the kitchen while mumbling under her breath. "I know I am old but calling me a witch! Such a rude young man.."

"What do you mean Mo," Sayre replies pulling out her shortsword and dagger. "WHO ARE YOU," she then demands of the old woman but putting herself between tbe old woman and Mo.

She doesn't know the woman but knows Mo does not lie!

"Your crazy bird chasing friend just tried to assult me for asking hime what kind of pie he would like me to make and now you are drawing a weapon on me as well? Why would you do this to an old woman!" She will say with pleading eyes and shaking hands.

Navek never answered Lora, having been too busy figuring out the ring. And as soon as he did, his eyes lit up almost immediately. Without a second thought, he puts on the ring before turning to the necklace next. Of the brewing conflict behind him, Navek hadn't even spared it a glance. He does offer one nugget of wisdom. "Don't know what you kids are up to, mind the rough play indoors?" He asks  with eyes glued and focused Identifying the necklace next.

Mo, as the old woman yells at you and points her finger your direction.. you feel the strong urge to go chase birds... immediately heading out of the inn, looking around for any birds to chase. Lucky for you... the raven is back sitting in a nearby tree watching the Inn again as you make your way outside.

Mo heads outside, that damned bird must be playing tricks on him again. Making him think the old lady was a bird. That bird must be a wizard in disguise. Mo casts Detect Magic and looks around for the glowing bird.

(Mo is under the effects of suggestion instructing him to chase birds)

(Sure enough, that bird seems to glow after Mo casts his spell. When the bird spots the goliath it give him a wink and starts flying slowly away from the inn, leading the goliath North)

Can the instructions to chase involve me taking shots at it with my crossbow?

Thimbol, who I assume is still outside on his wolf will watch as the goliath appears to follow after a bird.... the same one he was trying to chase earlier.

(Thimbol is definitely just hanging out with his wolf)

(you have to chase birds, you can chase them however you want.. I would assume that as long as you are working towards getting closer birds in some way that would count as chasing birds. If you are shooting or cursing or whatever else during that time, I would say that is fine :D)

Mo wants that bird...wants to grab it. Can't grab it if it's flying around..

As Navek focuses on trying to identify the necklace in front of him, blocking out the commotion going on in the inn.. he notices a faint ticking sound and after pressing a button on the top of the amulate, it pops open revealing a clock... a moment later his mind will suddenly be flooded with the magical properties of Clockwork Amulet

(Honestly, I thought about making you have disadvantage because you are trying to hit a tiny flying creature with a weapon you are not proficient with so I will say since it is glowing you can just attack it normal, hope that sounds OK with you.)
