"I don't think we should leave the bodies in the street," Sayre will reply looking up at all tge villagers coming out of hiding. "I think disposing of them should take priority," she adds watching Mo with Thimbol and suppressing a soft smile. Sayre will then look at Lorarila. "What do you think," she'll ask the sorcerer.

So Sayre and Lorarila make their way into the the City Watch building, shocked by the amount of blood that seems to stretch from one side of the room to another. It is easy to see where Ekra Payne crawled from where she was attacked form behind to her desk where she was able to activate the alarm. Based on her injuries it was obvious that she was attacked from behind so she didn't hear them as they escaped their cells and were able to sneak up behind her.
Sayre and Lorarila roll investigation / perception
Mo, you take the exhausted Thimbol back to the INN and lay him in one of the unclaimed rooms (since he slept in the basement before). Thimbol's wounds have mostly healed although he is still feeling groggy from the poison flowing through his veins. After leaving Thimbol in his room Mo makes his way back to the Mayors office and sees a couple of tall strong looking farm hands talking to Navek.
Navek manages to calm the crowd and convince most of people to head back to their homes and get back to work. As the crown disperses a couple of younger men appearing to be around 19 years old remain. While they are both wearing different sets of common clothes, they appear to look almost identical and both have similar shaggy blonde hair and clean shaven faces. Hey mister... My name is Gus and this here is my brother Chip.... We've been working with our parents on our farm just outside of town..." The tall burly men will look to each other and then at the dead bloodscales before their eyes move back towards the goliath... "We have both wanted to join the city watch and help put an end to these bloodscales... but mom wasn't too keen on the idea.... well... I think it is time we do what we know is right' The brothers will nod to eachother in agreement. "We would like to enlist in the City Watch.. help make a difference and watch over things while Payne and HIggins get better... They have both always good to us and good to the town and we want to repay them and help out.... although we don't really have any military training..." the two of them will exchange sheepish looks as they confess their lack of experience with weapons and tactics.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

"The bodies wont be going anywhere. Let's check the prison, I want to see how bad a choice I made with Drak." Points at two capable town folks. "Wrap these bodies in a sheet, we will dispose of them after the prison." Walking to the prison, holding Sayre's hand tightly as she does.
Chip and Gus nod to Lorarila but stand around a moment to hear if Navek will accept them as new recuits to the City Watch
As Lorarila and Sayre make their way towards the heavy open door leading to the basement, Lorarila can easily see where the attack took place.. and can see that when looking at the door, it is unlocked and not damaged in any way... as she proceeds down to the basement, she notices that the two cells that had been holding the prisoners are unlocked as well... you are sure that they were both locked... you know that you saw Payne lock the door when Steve was placed in the cell earlier in the day... but everything is unlocked... ... ... you wonder though if you ever searched steve though when he was brought in... you guys definitally removed everything from Drak... but what about Steve?
(I actually don't know if anyone searched steve lol. I remember telling people what was on the others... handing out heavy crossbows, leather armor, maces... and while obviously they wouldn't leave the weapons on him.. did anyone really search Steve... to an extent that they would know for sure he didn't have a lock pick on him?)
OOC: I do not. Sayre was dealing with a horse and missing important stuff apparently. Lol
Sayre's investigation 18
"Well, this is disappointing," Sayre replies looking around the room and worrying the back of her neck. Sayre then shuts the cells. "Did we search Steve and Drak's bodies," she asks. "We should at least make sure they didn't steal supplies," she adds.
Sayre will then clean up, grab sheets, snd head back up to the bodies.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Sayre does not notice anything out of the ordinary.. nothing seems to be missing except for a few of the uniforms, armor, and weapons that would normally be provided to members of the city watch.
As Sayre and Lorarila search the bodies they only find the gear that was missing from inside, although Steve does seem to have a small pouch of gold coins containing what is assumed to be his payment for killing the mayor much like the others had.
I honestly didn't think to at the time. But I blame Mo anyways! Also, this is probably way unnecessary, but should I roll insight on these apparent twins? Passive Insight: 13. Also, sorry Thimbol. Not trying to leave you out on things now, but hard to write in a reason to call him back so soon for a job.
Navek subconsciously stands up straighter and folds his hands behind his back. "Is that so?" He starts walking around the two and sizes them up. "I can tell your hearts are certainly in the right place. And you definitely have the build for the job, if nothing else. Though that lack of training is something I'm gonna have to work on with you. I take it you two are used to at least using blunt weapons to deal with any critters that got to curious by the farm?" He asks having stood before them once more.
Once the two gave their answers, he simply nods before his air of apathetic general warms as he chuckles. "Chip and Gus was it? I am Navek Storyteller Elanvole. But while you two are on duty, it is either simply Sir. Boss... or Big Brother Navek." He grins at that. "First order of business is these bodies. We'll be taking them to the church. I want you two however to carry them... That won't be a problem, will it?"Though he asks nonchalant, there is something in the goliath's eyes that hint at some underlying test. If Mo himself tries to intervene by picking up the bodies, Navek will swiftly raise a hand, give him a sidelong look, and then shakes his head softly.
"Once where done with that. We'll head back to the prison. Get the place get the place cleaned up. And see about getting you boys at least properly suited up. Sounds like a plan? Good. Get moving." He then looks to Mo. "I'll leave it to you Mo. But you can either come with us, or see if Sayre and Lora needs help getting things cleaned up."If Navek however sees Sayre in passing before the team moves on, he'll try to get caught up on their findings and his intent with the new hires, as well as see if she and Lora would mind cleaning up the Mayor's office as well to get the place locked up for the time being.

(yeah, Navek can tell they are telling the truth and the are definitely twins and they look very similar to the young boy you spoke with earlier)
The two men indicate that they know how to use simple weapons like clubs and such and smile a bit at the thought of calling Navek "big brother". When Navek tells them to move the bodies they nod and are ready to start helping any way they can. They then take the sheets from Sayre and wait for her to finish searching Steve before wrapping them up and each one tossing them over their shoulders and heading towards the church as instructed.
So After Navek and the twins arrive at the hospital, Father Bryon agrees to bury the bloodscales in a far corner of the graveyard reserved for people like them.. it is an area that is heavy shaded by large trees and lower than most of the surrounding area so it is prone flooding and often a muddy mess. Once completed, the goliath and two humans return to the City watch, with the twins changing out of their muddy common clothes and into the shining chainmail of the Black Oak city watch. Navek and Mo of he was still in the area would lock up the City watch building and send the twins to Leadbellys while they head off towards the "The Rusty Nail" to see about. building upgrades and fortifications.
When they arrive at the carpenters location, it is a fairly plain but very well built structure that looks similar to a large brown barn. The front door is slid to the right revealing a dragonborn working on what appears to be a new door... you assume to replace the Mayors door that was destroyed earlier today. "What? Oh... Sorry."Navek shakes himself, having been walking on auto-pilot ever since leaving the Church. "You're... Walt Blitzen, right? The one we met the other day?" He pauses, waiting for confirmation. "Right... right, sorry. Been... Well, you know. Ahem. I'll get to the point. I need to find out if you can help with a few improvements around town and at Leadbelly's Inn. Thinking of getting an offshoot built for training new recruits for the local watch. Also, I wanted your advise about getting a wall for the town put up. Not expecting it to go up any time soon, but having it in place will hopefully deter whatever follows the gang... Lastly, I don't know how likely it is, but.. Would you be able to put in at least for third off-shoot building for a private forge?

"This is odd. Nothing seems wrong or out of place, you don't think there is a spy or anything do you Sayre? Someone helping from inside the town? I truly hope not, I wouldn't know what to do then." Lorarila will look inside the cells, especially Drak's sighing and walking away.
