I would say Navek is good. He is hanging out talking to walt not far from the Inn.. I mean you can see the inn if you are standing out front of the carpenters shop. You can go to the inn.. buy SOME BETTER DAMN ARMOR at the general store.. umm.. whatever you want to do, this is DND :p
Mo let's Navek know that he's going to go check on Thimbol. He walks by all the shops without even thinking of going in to buy anything and heads back to the inn. "Having a good rest little man?! How's the wounds healing up? Can I get you a cup of mayonnaise?"
Navek bites his lips and squeezes his eyes shut, then sighs and bows his head. "Unless we could work out a deal in regards to the forge, the.. basic weapon racks, training dummy, and so on will suffice. Guess I'll talk to the local blacksmith about renting or something." He says as he began fishing out the coin along with making a mental note about the funds taken from the group pot(20 Plat). "Though out of curiosity before I go. Was there anything personal taken by the blood scales?"

(Short rest? 7)
Thimbol was doing more thinking than resting, but offered a reassuring nod to Mo, "If you could turn it into wine I'd be more inclined." He'd stretch slightly, testing his wounds. The bite from Drak the most serious, but even that was slowly recovering. "Can I help with anything? "
Walt will took at Navek and give him a smile, You realize I would not be expecting you to pay it all up front very few people I know pay for a house in cash sight unseen.... if you are interested in placing a down payment and paying me the rest when you can, I am sure we can make it work out and I can get started right away..." The dragonborn would lower his eyes and bite his lip when asked if the bloodscales had taken anything from him.. "They.. Took my wife... " he says wiping his eye with a claw... "she refused to hand over a ruby necklace that had belonged to her grandmother one day when she was caught by surprise and they hurt her real bad.... I know I cannot get my Charlotte back but if you could recover her grandmothers necklace I would really appreciate it."
Lorarila notices as she is talking with Sayre a tall dark haired man with a very light complexion and the robes of a wizard making his way from making his way from the church towards Smokes place.
"True..."Navek admits and smiles sheepishly. He quickly wiped it off in the wake of Walts admission. Navek places a hand on the dragonborn's shoulder. "It will be done, my friend. You have my word."After patting the man's shoulder a few times and allowing for a moment of silence, Navek awkwardly steers the conversation back to the jobs at hand. Rather than pay up front for just the basic training accouterments, he offers to put down 200gp on both it and smithee being set up in the basement each as a down payment. He was also willing to go as high as 350 on each, but no lowerthan 200 with the promise of paying off the rest before the end of the year, if not the month if fortune favored the group.

Walt will gladly wipe his eye and agree to taking the 200 gold. "200 will be just fine friend... once I get the mayors office put back together I will start work for you immediately." he will say with a smile. I can make some wooden training weapons for you as part of your training grounds if you wish, and let me know of you need anything else!" Walt will say before returning to his work on a new door.
As the robed man goes to enter the shop he looks around and spots Sayre and Lorarila. He pauses long enough to shoot them botha quick smile and a wink before disappearing into Smokes shop.
Still a bit sore, but looking for any excuse to get away from Mo's mayonnaise, Thimbol would head to the door. "Expecting visitors?" Asking of the goliath before heading downstairs. When reaching the door, the halfling would place a hand upon his dagger, then open the door.
"I don't know! Let's go ask, and find out. He definitely stands out, especially going to see Smoke. We might make a new friend and possible ally." Taking Sayre's hand and pulling her toward the shop.
As the door opens, as small creature leaps at Thimbol before he has time to react, wrapping its arms around your waist and burying his face into your legs... "Lawrence! you let him go right now young man! You are going to knock down the hero that saved your father!" As thimbol looks out the door he sees a small gnome woman with long curly brown hair, dimpled cheeks and green eyes.... that appear to be irritated and puffy as though she had been crying recently. "I am terribly sorry Mr. Thimbol! My son and I had just finished visiting my husband at the church and he explained how you saved his life and my son demanded to come over and thank you right away! I told him that you had been hurt like daddy and that you needed to rest as well but he really wanted to see you. When thimbol looks down at first all he sees is the top of a child's head, covered in hair. After a moment he will take a step back and hand you a picture from inside of his coat jacket. The boy looks to be around 5 or 6 years old with curly black hair and a pair of small dimples like his mother. As you take the picture and open it up. you see a crude drawing of a halfling holding a huge sword in one hand and slightly smaller sword in the other. It looks like the halfling is surrounded by the happy faces of the townsfolk and your companions.... and in the corner there are what appear to be a few sad people with red cloaks and big blue tears fling from their eyes as the leave town. "Thank you Mr. Thimbol! Thank you for saving my daddy, I cannot wait until you drive all those mean bloodscales away!" The little gnome boy smiles at the halfling, his face puffy from crying g the same as his mother's. "It is good to know that smaller guys like us dont have to be afraid of those bullies!" the young gnome says, taking a step back and wrapping around his mother's waist.
So as sayre and Lorarilla enter the shop, there is no sign of anyone around. After a few moments of looking between the shelves of magical items for Smoke or this unknown person, he slowly appears from downstairs and takes up a position behind the counter, leaning back against some shelving and looking around. When he spots the two of younhe will smile and step towards the counter and lean against it on his elbows. "What can I get you two Lovely ladies this afternoon? Is there anything I can help you with?" As you both get closer you notice that his jet black hair seems to be swaying just a bit even when there is no air moving and that his eyes appear to be a dark purple.. but the pupils... while black.. appear to twinkle.. almost as though there are thousands of star systems inside of each of his eyes.
"Oof" Thimbol winces slightly from the jolt and unexpected grapple. Glancing down to see the child, his hand would leave the dagger and instead rest upon the child's head. "Oh, it's fine. It was nothing. Really." Glancing to Mrs. Higgins then back to Lawrence as he's handed a picture. It was hard not to smile looking over the drawing. "This is really great, but your dad helped out a lot as well. He's very skilled and strong. Taking out a blood scale all on his own." Nodding a bit, "No need to worry about me or the bullies. It'll all be taken care of in no time."
