“This...this is how you ‘work together’” the still invisible form squeals. “I work because I must, not because I want to. I care not for my master, but I am bound to fetch him here if I cannot fetch what he seeks. Unless you can help me...”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Come out. Then we'll talk. Or I can just keep shooting your choice.
Darruk will wait 1 minute. If no answer or answered with a no he will shoot again.
Attack roll 1: 23
Attack roll 2(if disadvantage) 17
Damage 7
ooc- really hoping already having an idea of location and the first round hitting takes away disadvantage(if he doesn't come out) if so damage should be 12
A small, bat-winged humanoid appears in front of the rack, dripping ichor from an earlier wound. "You don't scare easily, eh? Well then, cards on the table. My master" - the fiend spits at the word - "bade me to fetch for him what I find in this cellar. I assume you seek the same. I cannot disobey the letter of our contract, but I bear him no love. Powerful and cruel is he, but I would shed no tears to see him fail."
Seeing the creature come out Darruk will lower his crossbow without taking the 2nd shot, but will grab his axe. I'm glad you decided to listen. Who are you working for and what are the terms?
The little fiend cackles and arcs in a graceful loop.
"My, my, pick a language, you two. You already know the first answer. You've been in his room, else you wouldn't be here. Powerful enough to summon and bind me, till he dismisses me or I return that which I find hidden here."
"So you work for Dalakhur. If we release you from your captivity will you help us? Is there a way for us to free you? What have you found hidden here?" (persuasion: 7)
"Dalakhur? My, mortals are thick," the imp chuckles. "No, I must serve another master, and he requires whatever I find. As of yet, I have found nothing, but I either return him a find presently or fetch him here."
The cackling stops as it shies away from Darruk. "I am not one to fight, but I do what I must."
Apologies for not having time to make up a map. In description, the room, again is about 50' x 80'. I view the imp as about 45' feet from the door, up against one of the racks. Since none of you have specified approaching him, I would have you all at least 15' feet away, but definitely between the imp and the door, such that it could not pass without going past at least one of you. Rolling initiative now - this does not mean combat must be the resolution here, but tensions have elevated enough that turns may be important.
Imp: 17
Darruk: 11
Blue Eyes: 7
Valafar: 13
Glory: 15
Saraba: 8 (Yes, there have been no posts in a long time; we may bot or skip altogether if needed, but including in case he returns)
The imp sighs "we could have had some fun against the master, but you just had to threaten, so now the master has fun with you" and turns invisible. One of you feels a rush of air as something flies by you, (4 1- Darruk, 2- Blue Eyes, 3- Valafar, 4- Glory), and would have the ability for an opportunity attack or another reaction, if desired, before we continue in initiative.
1st choice attempt to grab/ grapple him as I feel him go by, if not an option just a swing of the ol' axe. Just let me know what to roll and I'll add it.
Glory realizes quickly that he does not want the imp to escape and warn anyone of what is happening. He swings his dagger at the passing creature: (Attack: 6 Damage: 6)
Glory's dagger finds only air, but the unmistakeable rush of air lets all of you know the imp is speeding towards the door. It has not escaped the room yet, though, at its current speed, left unimpeded it will easily exit the cellar next turn. (All of you are within range to move to its spot without dashing, leaving your action/bonus action free.)

Valafar will attempt to speak with this creature in Infernal. "আপনার মাস্টার কে"
OOC: I just picked a cool looking script haha
The creature answers, in Common:
"You need to work on your accent."
"Perhaps.." A sharp-toothed smile peels across his face "But you understood me. So answer the question, my new friend"
Seeing the creature come out Darruk will lower his crossbow without taking the 2nd shot, but will grab his axe. I'm glad you decided to listen. Who are you working for and what are the terms?

Lot's of stuff ...
"Dalakhur? My, mortals are thick," the imp chuckles. "No, I must serve another master, and he requires whatever I find. As of yet, I have found nothing, but I either return him a find presently or fetch him here."
Blue Eyes stares at him, his swords drawn as he walks over and hovers over the creature. "What are you looking for?"
Intimidation - 19
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
I was having a nice evening. You're gonna talk or I'm going to chop. Darruk takes a combat stance with his axe. Intimidation 20
The cackling stops as it shies away from Darruk. "I am not one to fight, but I do what I must."

After that reaction, anybody in bold may go.

Sorry, I meant the above to be a D4 to see who gets that extra reaction. 4 = glory

Darruk moves towards the door trying to swing at the imp while moving to block the escape route. Attack 23 damage 10
you should have talked.
Darruk's axe finds purchase, but does not do as much damage as you would expect.
