I'll say Kintu and SP are spread out in the field, its large enough that you can each have a half to keep an eye on. Kintu you cast your unseen servant as a ritual and re-cast it every hour just in case. I'll say also that Kintu has light cast on his staff but is keeping it low and obscured by the corn so as not to draw attention to himself, but is ready to provide light if needed. SP positions himself next to a pathway that runs through the field to the farmhouse.
Dihek'nir and Dolf hang out near the barn, watching in opposite directions for any signs of the scarecrows.
A few hours go by, you hear nothing but crickets, and see nothing but the stars and moon illuminating the farm.
Late into the night SP hears the sound of a cornstalk breaking, about 30ft behind him, in the direction away from the house.
(I imagine I'm too far to notice Sp? I don't have dark vision and my light is pointed at the ground. Unless my unseen servant notices something and makes a fuss about it
Is SP waiting for the noise to get closer to him? or moving towards it?
And I don't think anyone would be able to see SP in the cornfield unless he makes himself known, you guys are spread out enough and its dark enough that you don't have eyes on each other (except Dolf and Dihek'nir who are standing together)
SP remains hidden, but can't clearly see the figure through all the corn.
Dolph creeps over towards the sound he heard, his feet crackling on the gravel. When Dolph get close enough he sees a dark figure splayed out on the ground pushing itself back up.
Budding would be adventurer got abducted on his first job, out with the people who rescued him. Gotta prove his worth, adrenaline trumps thinking. Personally I'm worried he just killed the farmer's kid or something
Dihek'nir is near Dolph, his back to him to keep watch in the opposite direction.
Perception: 20

SP allows his eyes to light back up, shaking his head and snapping out of his sleep state. He will slowly turn around with both shortswords drawn.
Dolph sees the warforged move and holds his position silently pointing to be sure Dihek'nir is aware.

SP had turned and drew his weapons but had not moved towards the noise, he was waiting to see who was approaching.
Thought we were close enough to see the 'light' of his eyes. If not he stand still. Just waiting.
SP does indeed hear another step, this time closer, coming down the pathway that he is standing near.
(Pokes the warforged)
SP has his weapons drawn but is standing perfectly still... waiting to see what is approaching.
A figure walks by SP headed towards the farmhouse, coming withing about 10 feet of him.
Roll Perception and Stealth.
Dolf and Dihek'nir hear a thud, as something falls to the ground around where you put one of your tripwires. (not the one with the plow)
Stealth 11 Dolph starts towards the sound, hoping the trap worked.

Dolph cant see well in the dark but memories of his recent captivity are fresh so he swings his sword into the prone figure. Attack 18 damage 10

(My thought was you definitely killed the kid)
Stuff him in a scarecrow costume and roll for deception
