At the mention of this, you notice Donavich has stopped praying and is looking back at you in horror. "NO, NO! DON'T DESTROY HIM! HE MIGHT STILL FIND SALVATION!"
I don't think this is a case of someone being a heathen, or turning away from gods, Donavich, I think he's been turned. Judging by what I've seen in this place, I think there are vampires about.

“As I feared. Donavan.. brother. There is only one way to cure vampirism and it is death and resurrection. Unfortunately, I am not yet powerful enough to call on the forces to complete a resurrection.” Lae says sadly.
Lae distraughtly says, “Believe me if I had this magic then I would have used it already! I lost brothers in arms trying to destroy evil here! And now I’ve lost Embir...”
”I don’t know how long you can keep him locked up, but if you can just do it long enough.. I will return here and preform the rite when I have the power! I promise you that. You just need to keep him here.”
I believe that. I am sorry for your troubles. We will do what we can. Shall we then? This place makes it feel like time goes slower and I can't remember why we came here, oh right. Laying souls to rest.

Necros says to himself "this is torture we should just put him out of his misery, as well with his dad. This is not right."... " come on you know how i feel about torture, becides we could use the experience."...."Fine i wll leave him alone' dosent meen i like it though, but i trust you."
The watches pass uneventfully and you all wake up surprisingly refreshed for the condition of the sleeping arrangements. Do Navicat, however, appears exhausted, as though he stayed up all night praying.
The creature in the undercroft must also be able to tell the time of day as you hear no noises whatsoever coming from that area.
Hearing you stirring, Donavich rouses himself and stands. "It is time. Let us lay your father to rest."
He leads the procession out a small door with Ismark and Ireena once more carrying the homemade coffin. There appear to be numerous holes previously dug in this small cemetery--most likely because of the rapidity of death in this land. They work to lower the coffin into one of the holes and Donavich says prayers to the Morninglord.
Following the service, but before he leads you back inside, he says, "You have been brave to help when others would not. Ireena is not safe here. I propose you take her to the Abbey of Saint Markovia in Krezk, or, failing that, to the fortified town of Vallaki. I am sorry to have brought this up out here, but were my son to hear and to get loose, I fear even Vallaki might not be safe."

Zennas leans in close to his brother and inhales a great sniff. "I smell something foul brother, but I don't think it's your blood."
When the brothers come back Lae asks, “Well.. what do you think? Can he be saved?”
I think so. Anyone have a wooden stake?

Zander whispers to Lae, Let's hope he doesn't get powerful enough to break free.

"As long as I keep him starved, he cannot get more powerful, but it is becoming harder and harder to hear him scream."

“Speaking of rest we must get ours. Stay strong brother I will pray for you”.

“We’re not enjoying this either Necros, but this is our only option it seems..”
"Well let's move on and maybe when we come back we will have the power to rescue this man's son... Maybe gag him? For everyone's sake?"
The party sets up camp inside the church. Lae takes the first watch, so he can prepare some new spells.
(Sounds good. Order of other watches?)
Zander will take second

OOC: I’m assuming it will then be Zennas, Necros, and then Yid.
(We can make it that lol.)
