Lae whispers to the people in the stockade, "We'll be back for you as soon as we can..." as he motions to the rest of the party to move on to the task at hand.
You continue on past the square, casting more than a few backward glances at the situation there. You follow the winding roads further until you reach the designated spot.
This uninviting shop is two stories tall and has a sign shaped like a coffin above the front door. All of the window shutters are closed up tight, and a deathly silence surrounds the establishment.
Wijen is amused by this building. "This place has done much to attempt to be a coffin. Perhaps the owner is as gaunt and pale as any undead?" He continues to muse how perfectly this place is overly attempting to be menacing and becoming a bit comical in it. He jumps to various angles to view what other over the top crypt iconography is here
Wijen asks, "Would it not be beneficial to have some extra coin after all? And if you are closed with the potential of having more, you must truly have troubles some adventurers could solve in exchange."
After a slight pause, the door opens just a crack, but the darkness inside is overwhelming. "Let me take a look at you. What an odd group of peop... of creatures."
Zander eases into the building and waits until everyone else is fully inside before speaking... (since we basically lied to get in and are about to interrogate this guy, lol)

"Perhaps we make a deal? Fix whatever problem the town is having and they let these folks go?"
Zander shrugs. "So long as we don't become the targets of this place's skewed version of reality."

Zander knocks on the door.

From inside, you hear a voice yell, "We're closed! Go away!"
"If you're in then why not show some traveler's your ware? Is business that good around here that you won't open?"
"Yes, unfortunately, we are in need of a coffin for a loved one."

You sense a slight hesitation. "I am sorry for your loss, but we are closed. Go away!"
"Why are you closed? It's a good time for business. You're in there, why not be open?"

Wijen asks, "Would it not be beneficial to have some extra coin after all? And if you are closed with the potential of having more, you must truly have troubles some adventurers could solve in exchange."
"Adventurers? You mean you will continue to send me business?"
"Why of course. Hopefully not our own corpses, but it could certainly happen."
After a slight pause, the door opens just a crack, but the darkness inside is overwhelming. "Let me take a look at you. What an odd group of peop... of creatures."
Wijen chuckles. "Variety is the spice of life after all."
"Ha." Zander can't help but laugh as well. "So? We can come in?"

The speaker pokes his head out the crack and quickly looks both ways down the street. "Very well."

Lae tries to fit in without opening the door further, but it opens much wider thanks to his bulk.
