“Catch that dog and have a rest? We’ve been going all morning. We need a plan.. this mystery pie lady has given us more context to the card reading, we should take advantage of our good luck.”
" we need to find out more info we are flying blind here, thats going to kill us. Embir we need to talk if somthing like this happens again we need to know that you have our back. i would not kill the kid, you need to trust us, but what is done is done."
You would. Zander smirks. Well, I did not expect several children to be on that cart, I did not expect the old lady to survive that, I did not expect her to disappear, nor to give us advice after trying to kill her, and now on top of trying to find out where all of these kids go, we still have to find Gertruda and we haven't even started trying to help the Vistani end the curse on this land, the Vistani who may very well be spies for the very person who cursed the land in the first place! Zander is a little exasperated after getting all that out in one breath. This place does not make sense. Is that why you like it so much, Zennas?

I guess we should follow the dog. We'll see if it will stop so we can rest for a few minutes.
Zander takes Embir aside as they walk. Listen, I know you were looking for a non-violent solution, and in the end that was the best course of action because I think that old lady would've killed us all, so good job there, but jumping in front of us while we're actively shooting someone who is obviously evil is not wise. In the moment, everyone was doing what they thought was right, and that's great that you didn't want to kill her, you're a better person than I, but in the future, diplomacy is probably not an option after we start shooting. Well, unless we're losing, which probably would've happened there. What I'm trying to say is, you've got a good heart, don't change that, but be careful who you trust and know when it's time to speak and when to strike.

Embir huffs as she walks. "You're right at least. But trusting someone and caring about their life are two different things. I wouldn't trust the older lady at all, and really, I didn't have much against shooting her. But she could have used the boy as collateral, and as you said, probably could have beat us into the ground easily." She laughs. "But yeah, I won't jump into the line of fire like that again. Was most definitely a stupid idea now that I think about it."
By the gods you're a bundle of joy, Zennas. Let's hope no souls were unwittingly traded. To the tavern then! Hopefully we can rest and find information about Gertruda at the same time.
(Is there a place to tie the dog up outside?)

The dog sits, seemingly patient to wait for your business inside. The tavern is much how you left it. The fire in the hearth, the 3 women at their table, and the lone man with his drink at the corner table.
(No matter the rp that may occur here, we can count it as at least a short rest.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Awesome, I'm going to go ahead and use my Second Wind ability. Since it's once per short rest I'll use it before we rest, then I'll still have it afterwards. :) 2
About Gertruda? Nothing really, just that she's young and missing, and the dog stopped here. I think we need to ask around about her first, then get on with this curse business. Maybe the people will start to trust us if we help save Mary's daughter, because anyone who saw us with the Vistani doesn't like us right now. After that, we may be able to ask the townsfolk to clarify some riddles that Madam Eva told us. Then we can sort out what we know. Sound like a plan?

" well that went better then expected, so what in the nine hells are we going to do?"
“Catch that dog and have a rest? We’ve been going all morning. We need a plan.. this mystery pie lady has given us more context to the card reading, we should take advantage of our good luck.”
I can't believe she offered help after we shot her. We should be wary, she could have been lying. Zander tries to catch up to the dog.

“Maybe she’s right, we just don’t understand this place..”

Embir looks at him, then down at her feet. "I'm on your side."
Zennas claps to applaud this odd encounter. "I'm starting to like this place"

(Sorry. Autocorrect fail, but fixed now. One boy.)
The boy begins crying as he runs home to his house. The dog runs up to the crossroads to the north and stops, apparently waiting for you once more.
Lae mutters, “Told you the Vistani weren’t to be trusted..”

The dog walks a bit further and stops in front of a door. You look and recognize the front of the tavern.
I also think Embir here, in the goodness of her heart, just traded he's soul... Since the old lady didn't take payment.

“Aye, a good mug of ale will do us all some good,” Lae says cheerfully.
