Probably a lot if people are this scared of him, Zen. Well, add another task to the list I suppose, we need to go west of Vallaki anyway. Anything else you can tell us about your sister?
Great. Point us in that direction, and we'll go talk to her once we're done here.
After that, Zander goes to the bar and asks the bartender, So, you heard our little spiel. We have good information that she came through here within the last few days. Have you seen Gertruda?

-We are all just one failed saving throw away from someone else's fantasy...
The dog returns to its previous behavior of running in front, stopping to wait, then going ahead just as you almost catch up. He leads you two blocks to the east before turning left (north) up a side street.
The street is deserted except for 2 small figures standing in the middle of the street. The younger one, a boy clutching a stuffed doll, is whimpering.
After shushing the boy, the girl turns to you and says "There is a monster in our house!" She then points to a small brick row house that has seen better days. Its windows are dark. It has a gated portico on the ground floor, and the rusty gate is slightly ajar. The houses on either side are abandoned, their windows and doors are boarded up.
History 18
I wonder how many times he has stabbed someone to death before?
Somehow, the sister's name sounds a bit familiar. You seem to barely recall coming across it in a letter.

"You could talk to her. She lives in town."

The man replies, "Just let me know when you are ready and I can take you there. It's probably better that way. She might not let you in otherwise."
"I know of her," the barkeep replies, "small village and all, but she's never come in here."
Zander scratches his head and shrugs at the rest of the party. Why did the dog bring us here then?

Can Lae see anything out of place in the bar? Something out of the ordinary, or not quite right about the scene.
(Bar appears fine.)
Can I peek outside and see what the dog is doing? Like, does it look like it's pointing at anything?

Necros wispers to the group " let me torture them and we will get our info we need."
“I don’t think that will help matters much,” mutters Lae.
(Dog is just sitting outside.)
Zander steps outside and motions the dog to come in. C'mere boy! He tries to bring the dog inside to see where he goes.

(Dog stays sitting outside.)
“It’s no use. Let’s move on. Shall we?”
I just don't get it, unless... Zander looks around the outside of the building. Is there anything of note there?
-We are all just one failed saving throw away from someone else's fantasy...
(No. The dog seems to be waiting on you to be done in the tavern.)
Alright dog, where's Gertruda? I don't know why you led us here if there's nothing. Go find Gertruda!
