Elyza enhances the abilities of her allies with a Bless as Valdayz casts his Sleep. The large green tiger seems to sway and drop to the ground.

The beast is asleep for 1 minute. You have that many rounds to decide what to do with it before it will regain consciousness.

Elyza says excitedly, "This is our chance to take the tiger back to the ship! Just think of what we can learn from it! It's a creature that has both mammalian as well as insectoid features. Is it's blood similar to ours or that of insects? Does it have veins or not? So many questions to answer!"

The party has plenty of rope, though the manacles won't be too effective on the large creature's legs.

"Should we really risk bringing such a creature back to the ship? What if it has a pack that comes looking for it?"

"I doubt this thing can fly or swim. If the pack comes looking for it, they'll have to keep looking because I find it highly improbable that this species will be able to get on board our ship."

"Let's bind and place a muzzle on this wild feline before it wakes up. After that, you have plenty of time to discuss on what to do with this creature."

Elirdain makes use of his Mage Hand as he securely ties it quickly along the large feline's body with Fera and his Rope, Hempen (50 feet).

(Can someone make a Sleight of Hand check with advantage, assuming someone helps.)

Vyserra comes forth to help in the effort to restrain the beast, willing to take the damage if the tiger woke up. All for science!

Sleight of Hand: 16

The group uses their rope to bind the legs of the green tiger, then placing some of the rope to muzzle the beast just before it awakens. As it does, it begins to thrash within its restrains.

"I'll bring this beast back to the ship to secure while it's still near. The rest of you can continue investigating the island, I'll try to catch up later."

Elirdain prods the trashing feline towards the Maiden's Horizon using his Shocking Grasp.

"I'll probably have to empty one of the rowboats for this beast to fit and place its provisions on the other. Fera, assist me delivering this large, feral cat."

Elyza comments, "I say coming here was worthwhile. We got our first contact with extraterrestrial life and we also have our first live specimen. I can't wait to analyze this creature's unique biology when we get back."

Valdayz grins and looks the tied up feline creature before him right in the eye. He flips out his surgical knife and smiles.

"Worry not, friend. Your noble sacrifice will contribute to my knowledge. And that is a sacrifice as good as any other. Now where should I cut first..."

Kaala does her best to ignore the goings on by the scientists by searching the area for any other signs of threats.

Elyza says to Doc Valdayz, "I'm as excited to dissect this unique specimen as you are but I believe it would be best for everyone if we take it to the ship first and run other tests which require the creature to be alive before we begin dissecting it. If we are going to cut it up first, then there was no point in going through the trouble of capturing it alive."

Valdayz sighs, but ultimately acquiesces.

The tiger roars in anger as Elirdain shocks it. It thrashes again, threatening to break its confines.

Over the next couple of minutes, Fera and Progress work on breaking a thin tree down to be used as a carrying staff to hoist the restrained tiger on.

Valdayz flicks it on the nose.

"Quiet, you."

As the tiger is being hoisted away, Elyza tells Fera and Progress to send in Johnathan and Ramona from the ship. "If we encounter heavier things, it would help to have more people to carry things."

"Haha, wouldn't do that if I were you." Vyserra comments. "Never know what that thing is really capable of." She will join the team that is going to head back to drop the tiger off at the ship for protection purposes.

Kaala will go back to the ship with the specimen as well.
