"If they just want proof we're not a threat, that's fine with me."
Elirdain drops the handaxe he is holding and the longsword on his side to the ground. He then kicks it to them and nonchalantly raises both his arms unto the air.
"I think that's enough to convince them we're here for peace. You guys do the 'who we are' part as I am definitely not the most charming person in our group."

Elyza stands up and checks down the way the tiger creature came from. There is just about enough cover from the beach to not get a perfect view, but there is definitely more figures on the beach than the exploration group she came with.
The fishlike people, upon seeing the weapons thrown to the ground, seemingly are less on edge, but keep their tridents readied in case it is a double bluff. The spokesman of the group speaks again in the Aquan tongue.
"Strange creatures, you will come with us. Our captain will decide what to do with you. Should you resist, we will class it as an act of treason, punishable by death."
Elyza, partly curious and partly pissed off, takes one long and final inhale of smoke before putting her blunt out. She heads out toward the group with small streams of smoke coming from her mask.
She steps out of the grassy foliage and in to plain view.
Can I roll Intimidation on the fish people since a plague doctor's outfit is kind of creepy if you've got no idea what they are and Elyza also has smoke coming out of her so she'd look even more creepy than usual. I mean, I'd be freaked out if something looking like a plague doctor stepped out of a bush and had smoke coming out of its face (provided I had no idea what a plague doctor was and what they looked like). Anyway, I believe whether she looks scary enough to warrant an Intimidation roll is the DM's call.
Hearing Kaala's translation of what the fish people said, Elirdain gives his suggestion regarding their next action.
"This is it guys. If we ever get near the water, I'm sure we will be screwed by those fish people if they suddenly decide to attack us. Captain, what's your call? Should we comply or end them this instant?"

As Vyserra is setting down her weapons, she listens to Kaala’s translation then to Elirdain’s question to their captain. It was ultimately their call on whether or not to comply or fight, but Vyserra preferred trying to befriend these folk instead. If only she could speak their language, damn it!

Elirdain looks at his intimidating comrade and the wary fish people before he released an exasperated sigh.
"Oh boy, this just made our negotiations a lot more complicated. Professor Valdyz, Pilot Kaala, our new fish friends might need some good explanation before things go messy."

(I think this might need to be up to Kaala here, the Professor isn't the most charismatic)
(also @DM Valdayz is a weird half metal creepy scarred guy, if the fish-people didn't react to him, they probably wouldn't even flinch to a creepy smoking plague doctor)

One of the fish folk cries something out in Aquan. The one that stepped forward comments something back.
"A sky demon! It billows black clouds from its mouth!"
"Steady yourselves, this demon may be in league with these strange outsiders."
Can I assume that Kaala translates the fish peoples' comments to Elyza?
