(Maybe you aren't meant to fight him, lol. There is that stone trail behind the cottage, or back the way you came, not to mention the creek, the woods, etc. Lol. Combat isn't the only option.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Appearing perturbed by your continued resistance, it tries to ram into you again. (Wyrwood Attack: 11). But you are too agile, maneuvering away from the dangerous tube as it thrust towards you.
Kip will disengage from the Wyrwood "I don't want to fight you!" The squirreling will yell as he runs as quickly as he can down the pebbleppath behind the cabin.
As you run along the path, you find it longer than expected. The stones are smooth and soft to the touch. The trees grow up and around the path, blocking out the light.
Though you lose sight of the trail, you feel a pull; like walking home. It isn't much longer before you no longer hear your pursuer. As you slow down, you feel a pebble kick up. You pick it up, and realize you can see it and the ground around you. You look up and notice a small opening in the trees above, looking directly at the moon.
You look back down to the stone in your hand, and in a sparkling material, you see an image of a Squirreling's fluffy tail. Suddenly you feel a pulse from the stone and a slight vibration, like a hum. A moment later the stone lights up; revealing that you are standing in a forest glade with rings of tiny stones circling you. You hear from the pebble; "Kip? Can you hear me? I hope this works, we've never tested it; not that we could." Hope giggles.
"We can't get to the mortal plain yet, this is sorta our test; kinda. The Elder Gods are having us use our Champions to, you know, spread our name." She pauses for a moment. "We were going to tell you all this but..." She is quiet for much longer. "...you, know..."

"I have tried to spread your name.....My family is well aware of the power Hope, and what you are capable of... At least they know what I have told them... and they support me on my quest to serve you even of they don't quite understand...." The squirreling will pause a moment still holding the stone tight in his hands very close to his face.... his shoulders will sag a bit and his voice crack a bit... "I have tried my best to do as you asked... I have embarked on many journeys and I had hoped that this would be the time I succeed in finding the others... Please help me to do your will... help me to repay the live you have given me!"
"This will be the time, Kip." Hope tells you with sadness in her voice. She stammers and chokes on the words a bit as she says; "Lu... Luna was going to tell you everything." There is a very long pause.
"So now we all get to tell you. Yeah, um... If you didn't know there have been others before you, stretching out to the dawn of life. Those stones you stand on each once belonged to a Champion of a God. I guess the Elder Gods set this area up for training, or something." You can hear her smile in her voice.
"The Elder Gods said that a great evil is in this land, about to come into power, or something like that. They were kinda vague on the details, which is honestly rude." You hear her huff and you are certain that she has crossed her arms in defiance.
"So beat big bad, save everyone, become legends, and birth our religions. Or, you know, most of that." She laughs.
"Don't worry yourself so much, Penris. Nobody is going to hurt us, especially the other champions. We all share a common interest and that will be enough. Deep breaths."
Mercury chuckles at Penris' barrage of questions, shaking his head jovially.

"OK! I uhh... I will do all of those things! Don't you worry... Once I find the others..... together we will spread your word and I will make you proud!" Kip will say, squeezing the stone tight.
Penris, again your heart jump as somehow you see up ahead another familiar form. Walking as tall as you and Mercury seated on the wagon, easily two or three times your height, with his eyes north on the woods; is Vanyel.
Mercury, still talking with Penris, fails to notice the large ally yet.
Penris elbows Mercury excitedly. "Is . . . is that who I think it is?! Look! It's Vanyel!! Vanyel!!" She starts calling his name loudly and waving her hands. Still waving, she leans toward Mercury and whispers, "He's awfully big and kinda scary, isn't he?"
"I'm already proud of you silly." There is a momentary pause. "Really!?! Great!" Hope says, and then; "Krythlynn says that Penris has already found Vanyel and Mercury on the road just outside of Haven!"
Looking over Vanyel sees the figure waving and yelling his name. Instantly he recognizes the figure as one of the creatures he saw in his dream the night before. He stops and stands there in shock for a moment before beginning to stride the direction of the wagon. "Hello little ones. I believe you are the ones that The Mighty told me I should protect."

Penris stares up at Vanyel and smiles. "You're going to protect us? Hear that, Mercury?" she says as she nudges him with her elbow. "Surely we'll be safe to do whatever we need to do with someone so big and strong to watch over us." She looks over curiously at Vanyel. "Do you know what it is we're supposed to do?"

(Yeah, I had considered that but since it had already chased me for a while i wasn't sure how it would work. I Will probably try running away again)

"Hope! Is it really you! Where are you! I want to give you such a big hug!" Kip will say looking around while holding the stone close to his face.
Vanyel turns up the road towards Haven not wanting to travel too far from his cave and hoping to find a quick answer to his query.
