Kip will give bubug a pat on the head before saying "you know... you could have just asked me to follow you.. instead of ramming me earlier on the path... just.... in case you need to guide me somewhere in the future..." Kip will say with a smile as he rubs the sore spot on his head from earlier.
As you bend over to pet Bubug, you feel a winch of pain from the arrow wound on your side. You feel that you should get it tended soon or it might scar, leaving a bare spot in your fur; or worse, get infected.
Bubug responds by spinning his wheels in such a way that it makes a very unpleasant sound. You have a feeling that he still isn't pleased with you.
Penris waits a few more moments and then sighs deeply. "Krythlynn must be busy, so I guess we'll just have to figure this out for ourselves." She turns to Mercury, suddenly agitated. "What if we were supposed to wait in the tavern for Kip and Ash? And instead we left!" She grips his arm tightly. "So, Vanyel is right, turning back to Haven is probably what we should do."
(So is my house on the way to Haven? I would think Kip is going to head back towards Haven if that is where his companions are... but if he needs to tend to his wound he might stop by his house if it is on the way...)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Well, If you have used all the resources that are available in Haven then where do you suggest we go from here. I just came from the forest and it is teaming with giant cats and automatons that will attack us. I can handle them but I would prefer to not bleed if not necessary." Vanyel then looks around to make sure there are no dangers approaching now that they are together, Something about this made him feel fate was playing a role and nothing would surprise him at this point.
"Alright then. Back we go.." Mercury takes another puff in a sign and jumps onto the wagon. He waves toward the other two to get on, and starts to steer the cart around.
Kip looks at the creature confused... The squirreling will think to himself..."the creature assaulted me first, and then proceeded to in no way try to assist me in finding the grove... yet it is mad at me.."
Kip will not say anything else to the wyrwood and will start heading back towards his home on the way back to Haven. As he approaches his home, he will try to remain hidden from his family.. not because he doesn't want to see them... but because he is finally making progress on his quest, and has never been this close to finding his companions and carrying out Hope's wishes.... If he goes home and his wife sees his wounds... she would never allow him to leave.... Instead as Kip heads towards his home, he will try to sneak towards where they keep old Hagger tied up... The Vicious creature that Kip had managed to capture that had been terrorizing the community... He knew that there would be food and medicine and bandages there that he could use to patch himself up before heading out towards his companions.
Penris smiles brightly at Mercury and Vanyel as they turn the wagon around to head back towards Haven. “Well, my first adventure away from home has turned out to be quite short, but at least I finally got to meet you two! Hopefully Krythlynn will help us find the other two quickly once we get back to town.” She stops speaking for a moment and cocks her head, thinking. “Should we go back to the tavern, do you think, Mercury? And see if the other two show up there?”
Old Hagger still seems jumpy and wild, even after all these months. After almost a year since you caught them; they still act aggressive towards you, even with the shelter and food. You think to yourself that you'll have to figure out what their issues are when you have time.
Penris smiles back Mercury. “Sure! Let’s explore!” She turns to look at Vanyel. “Have you been to Haven before, Vanyel? Do you have any ideas where we should start looking first?” Penris is vibrating with excitement. “I can’t wait to finally meet Kip and Ash!”
Vanyel nods in response. "I have been to Haven many times. I honestly know where the best warriors and hunters are but aside from that I am not sure. I was thinking that if we spoke to a local mage or priest in a temple perhaps they could figure out what these stones are or at least send us in the right direction."

Penris nods in agreement with both Mercury and Vanyel. "Those both sound like wonderful ideas," she says, clapping her hands together enthusiastically. "Let's head back to Haven, and perhaps on our way to a temple, we can go through a new part of town and see what we can find. Maybe we'll get lucky and run into Ash or Kip or both while we do!" She grins gleefully.
(Ash has been non responsive for... well a very long time. Having lost one player already, I'd like to ask if you'd prefer Ash to continue as an NPC or for them to somehow be removed from the campaign in game. I am more than fine running just the four of you, but due to the storyline so far I thought it best to see if everyone wanted the character to stay around or not.)

Try as you might Penris, Krythlynn doesn't appear to hear your call.

(Kip's house is near the northern tip of Haven. Technically a part of Haven; but barely.)

(No, the road you three are on is East of town. You would enter in the market district. Squirreling district is the northern side of town.)

Mercury smiles at Penris, and leans back on the wagon.
