(Ash has been non responsive for... well a very long time. Having lost one player already, I'd like to ask if you'd prefer Ash to continue as an NPC or for them to somehow be removed from the campaign in game. I am more than fine running just the four of you, but due to the storyline so far I thought it best to see if everyone wanted the character to stay around or not.)
so I think he might be on vacation but I dont know for sure. he mentioned a while back that he was going to be taking a vacation but I was surprised he never told anyone... it is possible that he is gone forever though I dont know for sure.
Kip would make it way towards the pen Hagger was being held in. The large brown and grey wolf had been causing problems for the squirrelings for quite some time before Kip had managed to capture him. The squirreling had hoped to train the wolf some day but progress had been slow. Kip would reach a furry hand into a pouch on his hip and pull out a couple pieces of dried meat. Holding it by the tips of his claws he would slide it between the slats of the fence until it was ripped away by the wolf. After giving the wolf a quick treat he would move into the nearby shed and work on bandaging himself up a bit. Lifting up his leather vest he would wrap a clean bandage around his waist before positioning his clothing so that the only sign of the injury was a small hole in his vest. Once he was bandaged up, Kip would take a moment or two and just watch the wolf in its pen and look around... taking in the sights of the huge trees and houses built into them by his fellow squirrelings. Now that he had found Hope again... and had a lead on where to find the others... he was not sure when he would be here next. He would wipe his eyes a moment before slinging his pack over his shoulder and making his way south towards Haven, hoping to find his companions once and for all.
As Kip travels farther south, the structures start to be more and more cluttered, with less and less trees; until all the plant life you see is on windowsills. The demographics begin to change as well; with squirrelings being replaced by halfling businesses and homes, the towering bugbears carrying massive packages, and the flood of child like Kender rushing in all directions, hands flying left and right as a sea of loose objects transverse throughout the city. A danger to any loose objects you may have.
The squirreling, being familiar with Haven and its inhabitants would make sure to keep his hands on his daggers and coin pouch.. as the Kender swarmed around the area. As the kender move on, Kip would place his hand against his chest and feel the small lump of the pebble under his vest. "Please help me to find the others.." He would whisper under his breath before making his way through the street. Every so often he would leap up and hang on a store sign or lamp post in an attempt to see over the sea of people in hopes of finding a familiar face from his dreams.
Vanyel rode in the wagon with his stone securely in his pocket. He felt that there was some sort of fate involved and gripped his axe handle tightly wondering when and where the next danger would come. He felt a strong responsibility to protect these smaller individuals and sent up a prayer to The Mighty to help him fulfill his duty.

Kip, you find that you are not the only squirreling escaping traffic by sticking to signs and rooftops. A young squirreling lands on an adjacent roof to you.
"It's not a dream, its a quest; a vision! Torm sent you on this path. There is no choice." Gamas suddenly stops his courageous stance and looks very sigh. "At... at least that's what I'd do..."
"Gamas, your words are ringing true in my heart. I should go, right now. Would you tell my family I will send word in a few days. I feel like if I let them know I'm leaving face-to-face, that i might have a change of heart. I'm just going to follow that path that Torm leads me on. wish me luck, friend." and Ash pulls Gamas into a hug, before heading off on his journey, letting his feet guide him.
The net is stretched from a shallow hill to some thick trees; and definitely wasn't there when you past this way earlier. Vanyel is right about likely bandits; as Penris has heard some recent rumors of them in this area.
Vanyel and Penris can hear faint laughter from nearby; there are definitely people here and hiding.
The black furred squirreling looks over, his young face turns and blinks in momentary surprise. In squirrel he replies; "Hi, where you travelling cousin?"

"I am looking for some friends! Maybe you can help... I am looking for a bugbear... a couple halflings.. and a gnome all hanging out together.. You wouldn't have see a group of them travling together would you?" Kip would say before trying his best to describe each of them from what he can remember of his dreams.
"Minus the gnome and you'd describe any part of this city." He cheerfully replies. "But I haven't seen them." After a paused thought he adds; "How important is it to find them?"

(I can run them as an NPC until we know for certain.)

The ponies stop the wagon, as a long netted rope blocks the road. It is suddenly very quiet.
Kip, you find that you are not the only squirreling escaping traffic by sticking to signs and rooftops. A young squirreling lands on an adjacent roof to you.
Vanyel stands from sitting in the wagon and hops off the wagon, His eyes scanning the surrounding area as he grips his axe.

"Keep an eye out, I fear bandits" he says quietly to his companions

Mercury stubs out his pipe and places it back into his pouch. He stands up, taps Penris on the shoulder and motions to get off the cart.
Ready - Eldritch Blast / Trigger - Anything that attacks us.
At Mercury's prompt, Penris hops of the cart, looking around.

Kip will wave to the nearby squirreling, trying to get his attention.

Penris will draw out the dagger her father gave her, ready to defend herself if necessary.
Kip will look to the squirreling, "it is pretty important" He would say narrowing his eyes.. pretty sure he knows where this is going....
