Custom Campaign - Cold Cash

Rolen heads back to the meeting place, as rolen and kaimos previously discussed.

Kaimos and Tirana stop for choco at the cafe she pointed out, then head back to meet Rolen at the apartment. 

Fivin realizes that you saw through his guard, but then notices you trying to distance yourself from the topic; and physically brushes his hand aside as he turns, moving his attention to something else.

Poldrik still sleeps as Rolen gets back.  His rags layered, as articles of clothing are worn over others; pants over pants, shirts over shirts.  A light jacket, worn shoes, and surprisingly no socks.

Kaimos and Tirana laugh as you walk back towards her house.  She stops and talks to the tenants of the house, instructing them of her absence and how to continue making their payments.

Rolen does his best to not wake Poldrik up, and tries to get comfortable (no furniture right? so just as comfy as one can be sitting or laying on the floor)

Flayr observes the exchange between Fivin and Kabarr with interest. 

(OOC: I have been neglecting creating Flayr lately but I will PM @RobertHReaper with the character sheet as soon as possible.)

Kabarr says to Flayr, let’s go... I still have several things to get before we go.”

(I am hoping to get the following: crossbow bolts (20), backpack, ball bearings, bedroll, case for crossbow bolts, 5 days of rations, Waterskin, whetstone, silk rope, fine cloths, black robe.  That should cost about 35 gp.  If I can find a healing potion, I would like that also.)

Flayr seeks to purchase an explorer's pack (9 gp).

(Yep, we can montage the rest of the gear buying if you like; are you heading to the docks next?)

Kaimos and Tirana get back to the attic; accidentally waking Poldrik.  He gathers up the wooden figure and asks if everyone is ready to go; wiping sleep from his eyes.

(I'm giving everyone an Inspiration Point.  I'm also removing the limit 1 max for Inspiration Points; since I find no one uses them when they have 1 use only.  Additionally you can use them after you roll; however I expect roleplaying when the point is used showing the extra intent.)

Rolen: (to everyone) "I'm ready to go. i'm getting quite excited actually. i know we are leaving just to lay low for a while, but this feels like it will be an adventure."

“Speak for yourself,” Kaimos tells Rolen. “I’m going to see my people’s homeland. I already had this trip planned before the trouble last night.  I’m ready to go now though.”

Slinging his newly acquired pack across his back, Flayr looks to the docks and the open sea beyond. "Come, my friends!" He says, his red robes whipping about him. "Adventure and opportunity await!"

Kabarr now all set with gear, eagerly follows Gnook and Flayr.  “How long will we be under water?”

(A little while ago I gave the DM a few weapon ideas that the Aqua Gnomes use, but now I don't know which to use. Should Gnook duel wield half shield, half swords, or be grabbing people with a giant hook on a pole? What do all of you think?)

(I picture an Aqua Gnome like a miniture Aqua Man..... Trident, net, maybe grappling hook.  just my two cents.)

(I'm with @Grandmaster. Go Jason Momoa on him and grab a trident.)

(Pfft, tridents are for tritons. We gnomes have those, but... hookier.)

(Gnook, you would know that this trip will take several weeks, as you are travelling from the near frozen north to the hot tropic.  The entirety of the trip will be underwater.)
