Rolen sticks by Kaimos

(Flayr wears fine red robes gilt with intricate gold patterns, and (made this up on the spot) bears the tattoo of a phoenix, the emblem of House Flameseeker, around his right eye.)

(Gnook's many tattoos and piercings signify him as a member of house Min, and he has a large signet ring made of coral, which has his family's crest, an octopus, on it. He also has the biggest marking feature of an aqua gnome of royal blood: his features are much more sharklike than a normal aqua gnomes, his teeth being sharklike and multilayered, and his nose being more like a shark's snout than a normal nose.)

"Flameseeker and Min, what brings these Noble houses to my vessel?"  The Captain asks, giving you his full attention.

"We desire only passage to the Min submarine." Flayr holds out his hands placatingly. "Nothing more. "

During the conversation with the captain, Kabarr looks around at the room looking for things that might be valuable or useful if this turns ugly.  Perception check 6

(must have kept his eyes closed)

"The Min submarine? That's way past Qixallia!  Months journey.  This vessel is too small to make the journey."

He pauses for a moment.  "You could ask the Lord of the Swiftwind; a nearby noble city sub.  I could bring you to them in a week or two's journey." The old captain says.

Kabarr, you are pretty sure that a lot of this is valuable; you just can't figure out how you'd be able to remove it, much less unnoticed.

Flayr turns to his companions. "Is that satisfactory?" He asks.

"Damn. Well, I wasn't looking forward to seeing mother anyways. That sounds good."

“I am looking forward to seeing things I never dreamed possible.  Let’s go!”

Kaimos already has tickets to where his group is trying to go, so he just shrugs.

Rolen continues stands near Kaimos.

"We accept." Flayr declares, turning back to the captain, "And thank you for your kind offer. If you might show us to our quarters we would be much obliged."

 It isn't long before you are settled in; the sea lays before you, awaiting your approach.  Gnook, you fully know what to expect.  Those who haven't travelled by sub before may be startled as the front of the vessel dips dramatically, water soon covering all the windows.  As it descends farther, soon the only light you can see come from the occasionally placed glowing rod, housed in some form of torch bracket.

Gnook takes off his armor, kicks back, says a quick prayer, then goes right to sleep.

Kabarr finds a comfortable spot near a wall to disrobe and check his wounds from the previous day and to rest his mind.  Unfortunately the confines of the ship brings back dark memories from his time with the Drow.

Rolen takes off his armor and weapons off in his room, and relaxes.

(is there a common area on the ship where people might gather and do activities?)

Kaimos is taken by surprise as the water rises up above the windows, and a bit uncomfortable being in a ship submerged completely underwater, but can't do much about it, so does his best to relax as well, spending his time with Tirana
