Custom Campaign - Cold Cash

Flayr retires to his cabin and spends the next several hours casting the ritual spell Find Familiar to summon a phoenix familiar.

(@DM, I'll be using the stats for an owl, but for aesthetic purposes I'm calling it a phoenix)

This trip will take some time.  Are there activities or other tasks that you'd like to pursue during the travels?  Ask any questions, nudge me if I forget to answer any of them.  This would also be a good opportunity to start thinking about your next level and possibly begin roleplaying learning your upcoming abilities.

(i asked if there was any common areas on the ship, or places that the passengers gather?)

(Oops, sorry.  Yes, there are areas to relax and socialize; including a bar.)

after relaxing for a bit in his room, Rolen will go to one of these areas.

Flayr proceeds to walk around the submarine and acquaint himself with his new surroundings, accompanied by his phoenix familiar. When he approaches the common area he sits down with a heavy sigh and begins to flip through his spellbook.

There are aqua gnomes a plenty around the many means of self and group entertainment.  There is a series of shops and stores of all kinds, a library, bar, theater, and even a park that travels the length of the area.  It's an amazing sight, and a sign of how necessary entertainment is on these long travels.

Rolen will go to the library, and look around to see what kinds of books it has.

Most of the books are on marine life, though there are many that must have been picked at their many stops.  Name a topic and there is likely something here about it.

After taking some time to try to settle his nerves at being submerged completely underwater in a metal box, Kaimos decides a drink is in order.  He and Tirana head out to find somewhere to get one.

(Any particular part of history?  Also, most of the books are in common, but not all.  Some are written in their native tongues.)

Tirana is eager to explore, and is very excited when she sees the theater.  There even appears to be a stand at the theater's entrance, serving food and drink.

Seeing Tirana's excitement, Kaimos nods and they head to get refreshments from the stand and then go to see when the next show is happening.

After a brief rest, Kabarr gets a little claustrophobic.  Looking around for his friend Flayr and not seeing him in the immediate area, Kabarr asks the closest Gnome if there is a combat training or workout room that he can burn off some energy.  He stresses the word burn with a slight chuckle. He adds "are there in special rules on this sub that someone like ....... me need to keep in mind?  I would hate to offend anyone on accident. "

Flayr heads for the theater and inquires when the next show is.

After resting up a while, Gnook heads for the library and browses through the books, checking out one or two that catch his eye.

Kaimos, Tirana, and Flayr find themselves in the theater; with the show just recently starting.  In the distance, past the crowd, you all can see gnome performers dancing and twirling; a tale of myth and legend can be heard being sung.

Rolen and Gnook both arrive at the library; searching for books of interest.  Kabarr finds a gym to burn off his energy; sadly no place for fire practice, as air is limited at the moment.
