"Good show, eh? " Flayr remarks, oblivious to the romantic atmosphere as he wedges himself in between Kaimos and Tirana. "It appears I missed the premise, however... This is Caspian, by the way, my phoenix familiar."
As Kabarr finds the training room, he takes a seat on the floor. With steady breathing and an effort to calm his normally chaotic mind, he attempts to remember his training practices from the Underdark. Some of the memories are to painful to bring up. The marks upon his arms and legs begin to sting from his memories of the lash that was applied whenever he made a mistake. Out of this pain he remembers some of the drills from sword and shield play. Wondering if he could do the same with his greatsword and his shield, he begins to practice. After only a few minutes with the heavy sword, his wrist begins to ache. Putting up the fine weapon, he switched to dual short swords. The speed and easy at which he can spin each blade brings a smile to his face. A great deal of sweat and finally some relief from his haunting memories send him off to eat and rest. The look of his strong body in the mirror reminds him what he really is ..... an instrument of death. ..... or so his master used to say.

Kaimos glares at Flayr for a moment as the other man shoves his way between himself and Tirana, but the Flayr doesn't even notice the look, and soon the show starts, so Kaimois turns his attention that direction instead.
What Kaimos, Tirana, and Flayr can gleam between Flayr's comments is a tale of how the Aqua Gnomes were granted the divine knowledge of magical machines and the relationships that developed with the other races because of it. How the Fire Genasi traded their knowledge of the flames for fast moving ships to soar across the oceans, how the Ice Elves granted them the knowledge of dealing with the extreme colds of the deep, in exchange for their technologically advanced cities. And dozens of other similar tales that were harder to follow thanks to Flayr.
Kabarr enters the food court, with its several small restaurants surrounding the eating area; foodcost already included in the ticket. Meals that meet the needs for any race, and smell delicious.
After gathering his meal, Kabarr recognizes Poldrik sitting nearby, sipping on a soup; the homeless looking Ice Elf that somehow joined your new companions between last night and today.
Even inside, he wears extra layers of clothes like extra skin. His pale albino flesh mostly hidden beneath the tattered clothes; his white hair matted and snarled beneath a stocking cap. Before him sits a small wooden figurine; and as he lifts the bowl to his lips, you see a beautifully carved wooden bracer upon his right wrist.
"Good show, good show!" Flayr applauds loudly. " I regret to inform you that I have other business to attend to. " He apologizes. "We'll have to have another talk again soon, maybe over a cup of tea.'" Without waiting for a reply he leaps out of his seat and locates the dining hall.
"Kabarr, my friend, I knew I would find you here. How are you enjoying our voyage?"
"Feeling more refreshed after my workout. This place reminds me of my younger days ..... except for the cooler temperatures. What have you been doing?" Kabarr says while keeping an eye on the Ice elf and his bracer.

Half the time they're speaking I can't understand a word they're saying, and the other half of the time it sounds like they're saying the exact opposite of what they're actually saying." Without pausing for breath he blinks at Kabarr. " Have you met my phoenix, Caspian, yet? "
"Wow.... where did you find him? I was wondering if you would be willing to work with me on learning more about magic since we will be stuck in here for a bit.?" Kabarr reaches out to touch the Phoenix.

"A capital idea. I can teach you the basics of the arcane, at least." Flayr replies, retrieving his newly acquired quarterstaff. " And perhaps you can help me with this. "
The second half goes on to tell mythical tales of underwater cities fighting giant sea monsters, an underwater war between thousands of aqua gnomes and an army of giant sized merfolk, pearls larger than wagons, and other magnificent stories of magic and wonder. Basically what is shown as the people's wants and desires. After the show, the lights come up and applause rings out.
Kaimos spends most of his time on the trip with Tirana, getting to know her better, the two growing closer as time passes. The rest he spends with Rolen, or by himself, meditating in his room or reading in the library.

(A little larger than an owl, but uses the same stat block.)
Flayr keeps up a steady stream of comments, remarks, and random stories as the show goes on.

To Kaimos' pleasure; turns out that was actually just intermission and it will begin again in several minutes.
Kaimos scoots over to sit next to Tirana for the second half
Gnook has grown bored of reading, and heads down to the theater, to catch the remainder of the show before intermission ends.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
