Kaimos doesn’t press for any more detail on the figurine.  The flash of armor is surprising on a beggar, but he doesn’t ask about it. 

(We had a big earthquake this morning. No power or cell reception at home so far today, so posting will be unreliable til I get those back.)

Flayr enters the shop with a theatrical flourish and bows to the shopkeeper. "Greetings, friend. Might you have a quarterstaff available for purchase?"

(Yah, we're all fine.  From the reports so far, there were actually no fatalities or major injuries from the quake, though there's a lot of infrastructure damage.  Fortunately our house came through just fine, as well as the stuff inside.  Not even broken dishes like a lot of people had.  Some stuff fell, but nothing broke.  Got power back late afternoon friday, should be back to normal now for posting))

As Poldrik begins to reply, Pang stands up and gathers his gear.  As he does so he says; "I just fled from that island and the genasi's agenda to 'civilize' us.  I stayed hidden in Tattered Blue, protected by the forest fairies for most of my life; but I'm done fighting for my people."  He begins to walk away, heading towards the door.

(Pang did just escape from Qixallia, it would make sense that he wouldn't want to go back.  He is still in the room if people want to keep taking to him.)

Flayr, before you is a very large and muscular ice elf; you see several battlescars, both years old as well as fairly fresh bruising.  He has the build and stride of an adventurer; his icy blue hair long and tied back.  A greatsword poking out over the shoulder of his leatherarmor.

Around the armor is a tiny blue and white striped apron.  He turns to you and says; "Welcane to Laucian's Weapon's hop; I'm Laucian... er... I mean Lucan; Lauci' is my brother.  But he hurt so... Hi.  You wanted a Quar'staff?"

Kabarr and Gnook walk into the armor shop; tons of shining armors line the walls; spaced out periodically evenly around the circular room, with leather and scale armors filling the spaces between.  The armor sizes range from larger, higher up, and smaller towards the ground.

A thin, slickly dressed Ice Elf with a white triangle goatee and slicked back hair; his clothes dark, tight, and likely silk.  His tie is crimson against his black shirt.  "Fivin Casilltenirra, owner of Iron Glacier Armour; how may I protect you this morning?" 

Rolen: (to everyone in the room) "I think its safe to say Pang doesn't want to come, is everyone else ready? cause i'm eager to get going."

(Anchorage, AK.  Theres been over a thousand aftershocks at this point, though most are too small to feel.  Had quite a few noticeable ones throughout the day friday, couple saturday morning, and one saturday night I felt, haven't felt any since.  Couple over 5.0 on friday night)

"That's fine, Pang," Kaimos says.  "We have no desire to force anyone to join us that doesn't wish to go."  He looks to Rolen, "I'm eager to get started as well.  Do we need to pick up any supplies before we leave?  I don't need a lot myself, but we should probably make sure to at least have some rations for the trip, and I don't know if anyone else needs anything."

"Indeed, my good elf. What do they sell for?" Flayr says in reply to the weaponsmith.

Rolen: (to Kaimos) "a very wise thought. we should gather some supplies before we leave. i guess i was worried about laying low rather than being prepared. speaking of getting supplies, do you have any gold on you? i think i gambled away all my spare cash last night."

"I've got nothing on me after last night," Kaimos says.

(@RobertHReaper would I have any money stashed away at home/in the monastery/wherever?  Clearly the other group had the right idea with taking a ship and selling it for a thousand gold...)

(lol yeah, as rolen said, i was more concerned with getting out of there than looting and grabbing.)

(Forgot to add this.  You have all officially leveled up to lv 1.  You may all use the Racial Stats I've provided you, plus any Stat modifiers that race would give; message me if the race is created.  Also, you can use Point Buy (30 points) to build your Stats; please message me your Stats and chosen Skills, and I'll make an updated character sheet for everyone. (Max HP)

Kaimos and Rolen may gather belongings and coins from their homes equal to the starting gear of your class and background; as well as the starting gold for lv 1.)

(Also, Kaimos probably wouldn't have the magic anklets if you took the other route, lol.)

Rolen: (to Kaimos) "You know what, i think i have some things at my room in my father's inn and tavern, i'm gonna quickly go there and gather my supplies and whatever money i have stored away. i'll meet you back here after i've done that."

Kaimos nods.  "I have a few things to gather as well."  He turns to Tirana, "Do you want to come with me, or wait for us here?  Or do you have errands of your own you need to run?"
