As for my character backstory, she was born in Moonsea region as the native and working as part time priest in Hillsfar where she met Erve. After meeting her for some period of time she became infatuated with Erve (not the healthy kind). Now she is missing, the temple has managed to make her lose control more than 100 times, will an adventurer join Hand with her to stop this? DM will know what happens later....

i think Erve is a he instead of she. But i can be wrong.

After punching the bar man, Richard continues on his journey...a piece of paper with burnt edges fall to the ground with "Hillsfar" written on it *Richard theme song plays* (how does Richard looks anyway?)

Ahem anyway I also think Erve was a guy, but I though of it female Erve is interesting too. I am bit confused though who loses control? The temple? @Noir (also what is your race?)

Holy hell... Richard just make a mess right before the campaign even begins, and the campaign escalated from "The Missing Priest" to "Richard's Journey" way too quick.

@Indrafatmoko Richard appearance is a common male wood elf in his *insert 20's but in elf's perspective*, but has kinda rotten face because he has corrupted soul. And for the "loses control" from what i understand, it's the character. She fall in love so much she became lesbian and people call her crazy. And after Erve is missing for a long time, her craving for "love" is uncontrollable and became a mad part-timer priest.

She is more or less a prodigal student of Manaria Academy. Her curiosity led her to the Hillsfar region where it is said that a mysterious yet fascinating herb was found along the border of its wild region. Determined to get her hands on it, she set off to retrieve it without the consent of her magic mentor Sir Bertrand. The journey took a turn to the worst when suddenly she slipped off the cliff. Luckily for her, a priest named Erve helped her while she was on her way to an abandoned temple. Erve was tending for her wound all night, when Anne slept soundly without knowing that Erve vanished afterward. Soon after she got back to the city, she found out that Erve was actually missing. Thus, she is now on a quest to find Erve, the person who saved her.

Anne posses a tiny magical familiar in the form of little centaur construct named Nic-Nic. He's a loyal but shy familiar that are willing to protect his master from danger. He was hostile toward Erve on their first encounter.

Anne is looking at a piece of paper in front of her with troubled eye. 'Erve is missing, after what he did for me. i need to save him' she thought. After all, Anne is a girl who won't let her friend in trouble.  As her mind rumbling with the question of how Erve is missing, a commotion took place in front of her without her realizing. A scene of people punching each other flashes in front of her.

If we follow the module closely this game will end in two post lol

Finally done with my character, a barbarian dwarf name Daemus Fathand. He know Erve personally.

I decide that Erve will be a female priest in this story.

That punching scene happens outside Hillsfar sadly, when Richard is traveling to look hint for Erve's whereabout.

Where'd you like the scene to start? Just starting on the tavern would be like....i dont know how that will ends up on you go together to save Erve.

As Anne and the part-time cleric here (@noir you really has to tell us more lol) are actually has positive relationship with Erve you can join up to look more adventurers in the Falling Leaf Inn.

I was thinking that Anne is in the outside, probably in the town square, within the area of Hillsfar. There she heard that Erve was missing from some rumor by local Priest. She doesn't know how to search for her when suddenly she get a hold of pamphlet meant to search for Erve. She hope that she can get any clue on how to save her by taking the job.

yadda yadda yadda....she ended up with a band of people going on a search for Erve. (?)

As the adventure background and my previous post says, we are in Elventree tavern called the Falling Leaf now, as Hillsfar ban all non-human races.

Anyway maybe I'll just unite you under an Order of the Gauntlet Knight that will lead the expedition to save Erve.

since I'm human myself, how about having Anne already knowing the detail of the disappearance. Since Erve herself told Anne where she went and people in charge of the search told her rough detail of the circumstances during her time in the Hillsfar, she is now led to Elventree under the order of the gauntlet knight. ahahaha

Sounds good. Then the adventure will open with a human Knight NPC and a human priestess (Anne) arrives at Elventree's village square to gather anyone who would like to help on this mission, whether their motivation is to save Erve, claim bounty, revenge, or anything else

Sorry i make it hard for you guys, btw Richard can be the last one who found the bounty, like you all already gather for preparation and then the "brawl" scene happens

@Neil dont worry about that, that scene of Richard burning the paper and hitting the innkeep happens on *another small town* before the start of the adventure, so I think Richard can be just in Elventree chilling waiting for opportunity if any party would like to take the mission without making it hard to anyone (you don't want to make it hard to everyone right?). Also what kind of faction only have one bounty paper to spread lol.

Also folks who havent extensively introduce their char I need at least to know "who are you" and "what's your story before this adventure". (I also put this in the campaign group notes)

• Who are you: whats your name, race and class, if possible background (soldier, noble etc)
• Backstory: where do you come from and why are you currently in Elventree. Do you have any relation with any NPC? Only that is enough, if you have other backstory please make it real brief.
