Silence falls over the street. Only three Cazanarro thugs, two Watchmen, Gabriel, Jevyn, Leaves, Shiv, and Tak remain. Gabriel releases Tak and staggers to his feet. "Hand it over." He growls. "The game is up." With spears against their backs the thugs silently comply, dropping their weapons. " You too. " Gabriel says to Tak, Jevyn, and Leaves as he retrieves the chest.
Gabriel breaks the lock with a meaty fist and opens the chest. His eyes widen in horror as he gazes upon the contents and with a strangled, inhuman scream, he pitches forward onto his face, dead. The chest falls into the mud, the lid clanging shut. Seizing the opportunity, the Cazanarro thugs turn and knock out the horrified Watchmen and sprint down the street, heads bowed against the rain.
You are left alone in the carnage. The ruined shop stands to your backs, and corpses are scattered about the street. The chest lies in the mud, it's unassuming exterior disguising an unspeakable horror within.

Shiv will rush over and pick up with box... watching to make sure no one else tries to take it before examining Gabriel (did he die of terror or does it look like he was poisoned?)
"...I don't want to know whats in the box. You all can decide what to do with it. Excuse me, I need to take my name-wage. This Kill belongs entirely to me." Leaves replied after a moment. Gabriels death scream was fresh in her mind. And given a Kenkus memory was nearly perfect, it would always be...
She sheathed her swords wearily, and went to retrieve her arrows from the Ogres corpse. She needed a treasure as well-a name wage, as she had explained to her allies before-it was an important part of earning back her true name, finding proof of great deeds that would let her clan take her back one day. Perhaps an eye...the eyes had great spiritual significance to Kenku, being seen as the center of the soul connected to the material world. They were also quite tasty, and considered a delicacy! Of course a material trophy was far less messy and wouldn't have to be pickled...
She drew her long knife in case the Ogre was trying to pull a "Snake Crusher". Also known as strangling someone to death while you were dying yourself.
Action: Leaves searches the Ogre for a Trophy of her victory. An eye will do if nothing else!
"Hey Atlas! How many did you take down?!.. Atlas??? where are ya buddy?" The viashino will ask as he reaches his hands into the sacks of flour to make sure nothing is hiding in them after picking up the whip.
Shiv recieves no reply from Atlas, nor does he find anything of value in the flour sacks.
Tak finds no external injuries on Gabriel's person that could have caused his premature death. Regardless, Cure Wounds would be of no use in this situation. Gabriel was dead before he hit the ground.
Leaves packed the eye in a way in a glass jar, and considered the scene.
"I think we should consider getting out of here-eventually someone will turn up, and I don't want to answer any questions. Also, we're due for our sudden, yet inevitable betrayal by the Turnip Demon!"
After several minutes of frenzied searching, Shiv finds Atlas' remains in the ruins of the shop. Apparently, when the wall collapsed and the roof caved in, Atlas didn't make it out. The light in the warforged's eyes begins to fade as his life dissipates.

"Damn" Tak murmors to himself as he shuts the emotionless eyes of Gabriel. Tak will then fly up 30 feet into the air and survey the area looking to see if anyone is watching from the alleys. Perception: 25
(Lol. I understand why you might have some confusion with the name...)
Gabriel was one of the three instructors at the Watch compound. He was a hulking, muscular man who Atlas pounded (Or got pounded by, I can't remember.)

After gathering the box and checking on Gabriel, Shiv would move to search the cart.
The ogre has no possessions of any kind. Leaves makes do with an eye.
Shiv, you are unable to determine what brought about Gabriel's death. Searching the cart you find several sacks of flour and a whip.
Now that the thrill of battle has worn off, you finally notice the absence of Atlas.

Shiv will look around the area for atlas

Shiv grabs his light crossbow for nearby and quickly begins yelling up into the sky and firing bolts into the air. "NOOOOOOOO!!!!!" The Viashino yells.
"If I were organic I believe I would be in a great deal of pain right now." Atlas comments. He closes his eyes.

"I think it is how he would have wanted to go..." The viashino will say to no one in particular....
The Kenku seemed more sober than usual.
"...Is there anything we can do? You're not exactly flesh and blood. Can we...put you back together?"
She regretted not learning more about the machine-man while she had the chance...
