    Gremryl's first swing of his mighty "Benny" misses wildly as Brysis easily dodges the attack.  Gremryl continues his swing's momentum to come around with a second mighty swing, which Brysis is not as prepared for.  Brysis extends her forearm to shield herself from half of the damage.  Activating his Divine Smite, Gremryl causes an eruption of holy flame to sear the forearm that Benny smashes against.  Brysis pulls back her forearm and sneers at the Paladin.

Brysis - "I'll have you watch your friends die in front of your eyes before I let you serve me, foolish Paladin!"  She taunts the Dwarf.  "Fargas, attack the child!"

Fargas - "As you command, master." The halfling specter moves towards Morgana and attacks viciously!  Fargas uses Life Drain Life Drain and places both hands around Morgana's neck, strangling the life from her.  Morgana takes 14 points of damage!  This reduction in HP temporarily reduces Morgana's max HP by the same amount.  This effect lasts until Morgana finishes a long rest.  Morgana will die if this reduces her HP to 0!

    Stool can take action next.  Then Leon, then Morgana.  What, if anything, would you like Stool to do?

To stool:  “get back in the stairwell behind Leon, little buddy.  I need u to b safe!”

Leon casts bane on the enemies and casts shield of faith on Grem 

 DM Note - Shield of Faith is now active on Gremryl.  Fargas fails the saving throw and is afflicted with Bane.  Brysis passes the saving throw and is unaffected by Bane.

To the specter that's attacking Morgana: "Hands...OFF!!"  Morgana will drive her fist into the gut of the ghost in front of her and then unleash the lightning bolt in her ring.

To Leon:  "I'm injured!  Little help!"

Leon looks at Morgana

”I will help you as soon as I can child, but I am a coward according to you. I hope I am not so scared that I can’t help you.”

    Fargas the Specter watches as the lightning bolts arc outward from the ring on Morgana's finger.  They diffuse a bit from the inside of the Specter's body, although aside from a minor stun that releases his grip on Morgana's neck, it doesn't appear to have caused significant damage.

Brysis - Looking at Fargas, she says, "I'll need more powerful servants if that's the extent of your power, Fargas."  Sniffing the air with her chin slightly raised she focuses her gaze upon Morgana.  Brysis then says, "I sense great power in you, young mortal.  I shall make you the general of my undead army if you desire it.  I will show how to awaken your ancient memories...MORGANA!"

    Brysis then moves forward, right through Gremryl.  It's an experience that he's never actually felt before and it chills his entire soul.  Brysis now faces Morgana and stirs a powerful feeling from deep within Morgana's knowledge of magics.  Morgana does not realize yet that Brysis is draining the life force from her body.  Gremryl turns to face Brysis once more and can make out a reddish flame that effuses from Morgana's body and into the eyes of Brysis!

    Morgana takes 18 points of damage and is knocked unconscious as she falls carefully to the floor with a gentle motion from Brysis.

Saving throw 1= 21

Saving throw 2=22

Also, since I dropped to 0 hit points, I'll use my strength of the grave ability.

Feeling the ***** brysis flow through him, leaves a vile taste in his mouth.. Moradin's Benovlance instantly ignites  (bonus action) almost as if it is fighting off the dark evil vile mist that is around it..

Gremryl seeing Morgana collasping, instantly become Green with righteous anger... Yes she's arrogant, selfish, clueless to the ways of the world, but she was born to a demon through no fault of her own. She helped them escape drow slaves, and like it or not.. much to his acid reflux, she's a companion and friend.. 

"Oh best to be giving the lass her life back, before I make ye.. Well I'm making ye either way foul ghosty! Ye sucked in the wrong group this time and tis be your last to be sure. Moradins blessing on you!!!" He roars!

Leon attacks the leader with his spear Attack: 7 Damage: 8 and casts healing word on Morgana for 7 point of healing.

    Gremryl turns to face Brysis and catches the wraith draining the life force from Morgana until she collapses.  This causes a great emotional reaction from deep within the Paladin's ethos.  Almost instinctually, Moradin's Benevolence ignites with green flames.  With the full might of Gremryl's muscle, he swings "Benny" down hard onto Brysis' back and instantaneously ignites a Divine Smite that results in serious damage to the enemy.  While Gremryl knows his attack should have broken bones on a lesser enemy, he has no time to question why right now.  Using his fury and carrying through with his momentum, he swings "Benny" around again and has it come crashing down onto the shoulder plate of Brysis's right arm, once again calling forth a Divine Smite upon landing the blow.  A second time, the might of "Benny's" weight doesn't inflict as much pain as it should, however the holy damage burns away a large portion of the wraith's upper arm.

    Brysis slowly turns to face Gremryl and with an evil grin she says,

Brysis - "You will watch your friends die in front of you.  They will rise as heralds of my new world.  Then you too, shall succumb to death's embrace...at the hands of your once loyal companions...my unholy Paladin you will become!" Her eyes burn with the same red flames that Morgana's once did before her light was extinguished.

    Leon, taking this moment of Brysis' distracted attention, readies his spear and attempts to lance the wraith through the heart.  It passes through the enemy with no more resistance than a heavy fog would offer!  Slowly, Brysis' gaze then falls onto Leon and she says,

Brysis - "Ahh...how foolish your attempts of causing me harm are, human.  Fargas, I desire this one next." As she says this, her arm raises to point a corporeal finger directly at the Cleric who shows a fierceness in his eyes that defies the undead's command.

    Leon then calls forth his magical energies to surround Morgana with healing power and raising her back on her feet, Morgana regains 9 points of health!  Not sure what's transpired since she lost consciousness, what's glaringly apparent is the dire situation Morgana finds herself in, and the loyalty of her companions in protecting her even in near-death.

    Fargas reaches out to Leon and attempts to strangle him just as he did with the Tiefling moments before.

Fargas - "Elmo was right to leave you weaklings...Brysis is true power."  He says as he strikes out but is unable to grab hold of Leon, who dodges the chilling embrace entirely.

    Leon looks over at Gremryl with an unsettling look to check if he also heard this Specter mention Elmo's name...

Morgana is able to take action next!

“Grem did you tell this guy about our gay little halfling friend?”

Morgana groggily staggers to her feet and peers around.

”what the hell did I miss...”. She notices the enemies still on their feet and begins to cast around for better options instead of using the attacks that have only met with limited success thus far.  As a free action, she would like to do an arcana check on the sarcophagus in the room to see if it has any magical properties.  

To leon 

"I haven't muttered the halfings name since we entered this blasted place.. did they pass through here perhaps?... wait.."

To the specter 

"What have you done with our gay halfing friend you hot bag of orc arse air!!:
