“we are being followed Hemeth, thebojer lads are here but in disguise. A group of drow were behind us. We made a distraction and allowed the others to slip away. Their here I reckon, but in costume. By the way... I saw a merchant arguing with himself. Is that normal? Also, do they not sell Ale here? What do you have for us brother?”
Hemeth - "It's not a surprise to see Drow here. What else can you say about these particular Drow? As for a merchant arguing with himself...no, that seems a bit strange to me as well. Where is this babbling merchant? I'd like to see for myself." He says as he strokes his beard in careful thought. "Ale you'll find in an ale--house Grems. This isn't a festival, my friend. It's a bazaar. Now, as for Droki, I did turn up a couple of leads."
Rowland nods to Leon then drifts into the nearby crowd, intending to stay near Leon but focused on looking for any signs of them being tracked or watched.
Gremryl leads Hemeth back to the babbling merchant, who's still arguing with his non-existant twin brother.
Duergar Merchant - "No! You can't sell it at that price! What will we bring home for profits if we do that, ya dolt?!" a pause... "No! I told you no! It's gotta be higher than that, you idiot!" and on he goes...
Hemeth and Gremryl both look at each other in puzzled bemusement.
Hemeth - "Pardon, good sir." addressing the merchant. "Would your partner wish to explain to us why he would price so favorly towards a patron? It seems you have the right of it. Your wares should fetch a higher price, indeed."
The merchant looks at Hemeth with a smile and says,
Duergar Merchant - "Finally! You have a sharp sense about ya. My twin brother here has no sense of business and why I ever listen to him on such matters is beyond my reckoning."then turning to his side, where nothing appears to be, he continues his argument and disregards Hemeth and Gremryl.
Hemeth to Gremryl - "Strange...this is not normal behavior for anyone of their right mind. I'll make mention of it to my father. Perhaps there is more to this story than at first glance but he seems a bit...touched by madness, does he not?"
Aye Hemmy, like the shield dwarf we ran into back by darklake. He had escaped from the city, could be the madness has seeped into your City? Is there a temple or something of the such that could help us? I vaguely recall you talking to the Stonegiant that calmed the rampaging one here in this bazaar yes? My senses were a bit uh.. dulled.. if so, there be 3 cases of madness we can confirm lad. Let me see if i can sense anything Hem's"
"Here (he hands Hemeth a sweat meat) feed gougy would ye? He is partial to dwarves, and I'd like ye two to meet and become friends" he says with the sincerity of a brother showing his brother the new friend.
out loud: Now where are those humans and halfing...
I'd like to cast Divine Sense market place... to see if anyone else has been touched?
After not being able to find Rowland and Leon (because he is not looking for them in their transformed state), Elmo stealthily works his was back towards where the party was. He is keeping an eye out for Drow, Grem, Hem, or Mikey.
Elmo sees Gremryl, Hemeth and Mikey grouped near each other. There are a few Drow around, seemingly going about their own business. They don’t look like the ones who were watching them just moments ago.
Taking the inputs from his companions, Hemeth begins setting out for Ylsa's Warehouse. As you walk through the city, you get the feeling you're being watched. Hemeth comes up to a small little building that looks aged beyond normal use.
Hemeth - "Take caution. Looks can be deceiving." he says and walks forward to the front door. Knocking 3 times forcefully, Hemeth waits for a response.
*KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK*
Three knocks are returned in approximately the same tone and frequency. Hemeth then knocks 2 times, pauses and then a single knock. After a momentary pause, the pattern is repeated back to him. and a *CLICK* is heard to the right of the door. Hemeth walks over to where the noise seems to originate from and searches briefly until he finds what appears to be a hidden handle. Depressing the lever, a doorway opens where none looked like there would be.
Hemeth - "Welcome to Ylsa's Warehouse. She's expecting you and this is as far as I go. Her and I have...history...and trust me when I say that it was costly enough to get her to agree to even meet with you. I'll meet you all back at my father's manse when your business here in the Darklake District is finished. I too have preparations to make before tomorrow arrives." he says soberly. Then privately to Grem, he says, "Best ya enter without Razorgouge, old friend. There's a time and a place for things if ya catch my drift."
Leon approaches Hemmeth as he walks away from the group entering the warehouse and drops his disguise.
“Mind showing me the forge on your way home good sir?”
Telepathically to Dawnbringer
”Mind if we handle a bit of our date now my lady? It appears there are far to many dangers in this town. I don’t know if there will be another chance.”
Gremryl leans in towards Hemeth

Gremryl guidew hemeth back towards the merchant that was babbling to himself
"Aye, suppose the ale can wait. Hopefully thse blasted lads get the and close in with us.."
Rowland nods to Leon then drifts into the nearby crowd, intending to stay near Leon but focused on looking for any signs of them being tracked or watched.
Gremryl nodding says

Perception check: 11
Rowland hears Grem and decides to pass nearby and mumble quietly, "any luck finding that ale?"
Elmo sees Gremryl, Hemeth and Mikey grouped near each other. There are a few Drow around, seemingly going about their own business. They don’t look like the ones who were watching them just moments ago.
Gremryl half startles: "moradins balls boy! No, no ale around here lad...ye see anything?"
Gremryl’s Divine Sense doesn’t alert him to any demonic presence in the area.
(What are your intentions right now? If everyone’s done shopping, we can move to Ylsa’s Warehouse. Hemeth Said’s he can take you there.)

I'm done, we can roll out and hemeth can answer as we walk.
Rowland pretends to inspect a nearby shop and mutters, "They've disappeared, we'll follow you."
I want to go to Ylsa’s
Grem will follow hemeth
Leon approaches Hemmeth as he walks away from the group entering the warehouse and drops his disguise.
