Rowland looks at Leon with incredulity, "Me!? I've never been known to cheapshoot friend, it was merely an attempt to make you flinch in jest I assure you. Glad to hear your appointment at the forge went smoothly. Ours was not without excitement as 4 brutes got the drop on us somehow on the way back and extended our trip just a bit."
“My apologies Rowland. With all the cock knocking going on I wasn’t sure who was doing what. On the plus side it seems like Lady Tymora was smiling on all of us. To get us here at the exact same moment. With you guys most likely obtaining information on our attackers or stopping the threat, I would presume, and me finding out about Droki. Lady Luck is definitely on our side today.”
As you approach a large set of stone doors beset under an archway of uniquely ornate stonework design, the Head Attending stops short of the door. Turning to the group he says,
Head Attending - "I hope for your sake this is truly urgent." then he opens the door slowly.
Hemeth's voice and that of his father's can be heard discussing something from within the room behind the doors but you can't make out what they're saying.
“My apologies to you both. Rowland has some urgent news I am told. Rowland is blocking the door for some reason. I found it weird so I pushed past. I have some minor news to report to entertain you while we wait for him to enter. I believe I have located Droki’s hideout near the far side of the forge.”
"Pardon the intrusion, we were just attacked by drow leaving Ysla's... we defeated the group and left 2 of them in Yslas 'care' to get some answers. We didnt want to bring them here. It appears Rowland couldn't wait to tell ye I suppse.."
Rowland watches Leon enter and notes his *****y behavior, 'hmmm. . . perhaps those blows were more damaging to his nuts then he let on' he thinks to himself.
"As Gremryl the Brave stated, our group came across some unsavory drow and were forced to murder two of them before subduing the others. They seem to have some magical means of tracking us. Also we came across others who appeared to be going mad thru out the city. "
Both Hemeth and his father look at each other with a pause, then at Leon, Gremryl and finally resting their attention on Rowland...
...an uncomfortable pause ensues...
...Hemeth's eyes blink with arms crossed...as if...waiting...for news of something urgent to slip from Rowland's lips...
Hemeth - "...Mr. Black, while your words carry significant importance, I'm struggling to find the urgency in them..." he waits again for Rowland to come up with a good reason to interrupt the dialogue that he was having with his father.
"Apologies for interrupting your family affairs, we believed the news of the drow tracking our whereabouts and taking several prisoners for questioning to be a matter you would wish to know of at once sir. They seemed to be one step ahead of us and we were concerned for the safety of you and your staff if venturing out in their midst is all. We'd be happy to see ourselves out and be on our way if it pleases you."
Hemeth sighs audibly and is about to speak when his father, Kharren lays a heavy hand on his shoulder and says,
Lord Holderhek - "We will continue this discussion after dinner. Take heed of Mr. Black's words. He's come a long way to aid us." Then to the group he says, "I leave you in strong hands. We shall speak again in the morning before the next phase of our plan begins." and with this he begins to walk through another doorway of the room that you're in now.
Hemeth - "Come with me. You have my attention now. Let us discuss over an ale. Grem, ever had a Slow Spout? It's a thick and bitter ale only for the heartiest of Dwarves and Duergar." He says this as he walks closer to Gremryl and lays a hand on his back, as if motioning him to walk beside him. "We've got Belbuck in for the...light of tastebuds. A particular favorite of Halflings, I'm told."
Hemeth leads you all to a large hallway with a massive wooden table that appears to be fashioned from some type of Oak...you can tell that it must be incredibly valuable and rare in quality. There are chairs set around the table and you're beckoned to sit.
To hemeth: " a slow spout you say? I've heard of them indeed! Back in Adbarr those craft brews fetched a pretty coin. After dealing with Ysla who by the way is so polite and mannered, and beating up drow. A slow spout sounds like just what the cleric ordered eh!"
"Oh, by the way Ysla says you still owe her? Not sure what she meant lad. "

Rowland steps to the threshold and pauses to take in the sights of what's within.
Leon nudges Rowland forward
”Go ahead when you ready man.”
Leon casts guidance on Rowland
Leon pushes past Rowland and enters the room

Leon looks back toward the door
”Anyone else coming in?”
"Pardon the intrusion, we were just attacked by drow leaving Ysla's... we defeated the group and left 2 of them in Yslas 'care' to get some answers. We didnt want to bring them here. It appears Rowland couldn't wait to tell ye I suppse.."

Rowland joins the group in the room.

Rowland follows Hemeth and Grem, nonchalantly wiping a bead of sweat off his brow on the way out.
