Shrugging away the grapple attempt with quick reflexes and swift motions, the enemy Duergar reveals itself and it’s much bigger than Leon had expected! Leon remembers that the Duergar can turn invisible and can’t Enlarge the size of their bodies on command.
Leon's Toll the Dead spell rings into the mind of the Duergar before him until his psyche breaks down and the Duergar collapses onto the floor, unconscious.
Rowland attacks the Duergar that Gremryl targeted, looking the weakest, and lands one of his attacks into the Duergar's rib cage, causing him to wince with pain. The Duergar yet stands, although he looks very weak at this point.
Elmo, having moved at the beginning of his turn, is able to avoid the poison for another turn. Hiding behind the wooden crates, and smelling something rotting from inside, he takes careful aim at the Duergar Alchemist across the room...
The Duergar Alchemist, caught unaware of Elmo's position, is assailed with a crossbow bolt that lands deep into his thigh.
The Duergar Alchemist reaches for a couple more vials from inside his lab coat. Tossing them over in Gremryl's general direction, neither of the vials reach their intended target. The mess around Gremryl's feet, however, make it difficult terrain.
The Duergar Gardner standing in front of Gremryl becomes visible to the naked eye again and attacks Gremryl with vengeance (Critical Hit!)! His war pick takes a deep bite into Gremryl's thigh, dealing 18 damage!
