As we walk, Leon would like to study the surroundings, races he sees, and their clothing. Leon would like to see if he can find a look that no one would give a second glance at. Leon also is looking for a place to take Dawnbringer on their date. Maybe a nice restaurant or a make out point over looking the lake.
Hemeth leads the group back through some of the same alleys that got them to Captain Errde's office. Not that the group would really be able to tell unless one were to pay very close attention though since it all more or less looks very similar. Leon looks around as they make their way towards Hemeth's father's manse to discern what the local style is and for any places of significant value to take Dawnbringer on their fated night out.
Looking down a side ally, Leon makes out what appears to be a homeless male Duerger taking an unusually massive dump with little privacy. The smell catches his nostrils and a reflex to vomit instantly forces a dry heaving motion from the Cleric...but he presses on as he rallies. The next open street doesn't fare much better. There's a group of svirfneblin performing somewhat lewd acts on one another...they all appear to be male...it's hard for Leon not to look away just as it would be hard not to look away from an impending train wreck...Leon hopes the next block will provide something of value. Sadly, it does not. In the next section of the city, a whore walks up to Leon and if it weren't for the awful stench of filth making her presence known well in advance of her footsteps, it would be the hideously unkept mop of hair that's likely hiding large infestation patches of lice that compels Leon to quicken his steps.
Leon now comes to the conclusion that perhaps entreating Hemeth for advice might prove more successful if information about the city is to be gleaned...
Watching leon take in the sverblins doing their deeds.. despite feeling shitty he can help it
"What's a matter Master cleric? Never seen a svirfneblin soup kitchen before... oh lad... there are those, and elven Tea parties.. halfling halfwhiches and gravy... Lad.. it's a dirty world aye.."
"What have they been teaching you here Master Elmo? The young cleric has pulled my hide out the fire more than once. You and I are to be having some words when we settle down master Elmo about our differing adventures. Nonetheless lad, looks like we are heading into the thick of it again. Tell me. Have ye seen and spoken with Hemeth and his clan?"
To leon
"Its not all bad, you should see the an Orcish cauldron..no there! That's not made for holy eyes. Hows ye sword lad?"
"She is good I think. She warned me of the impending evil coming to the Underdark. Looks like evil is all around us now though. I shall summon her blade and commune with her and Tymora when the time is right. I don't want any of the nefarious types or the guards to see her and try and steal her from me."
Leon contemplates speaking with Hemmeth about a date location for him and Dawnbringer, but doesn't after remembering he was ignored when asking about Stool. Leon feels Hemmeth is was to busy with other things on his mind and know he owes Hemmeth a debt already to bother him again.
You've arrived at Hemeth's father's residence. Clan Holderhek is prominently displayed in front of the oversized mansion that shadows the other residences you've seen leading up to it. The stonework laid here commands both respect and awe from any who would appreciate its craftsmanship. For a Duergar to have risen to such wealth, you wonder what interest he has in you, a foreigner in these lands, and an unwelcome one at that. Perhaps here at least, you'll enjoy comforts you only vaguely remember from your days before the Underdark...some days you try to wrap yourselves in those memories and linger in them before they inevitably turn to nightmares and cold sweats...
Hemeth turns to you all before the threshold of this imposing manse.
Hemeth - "You are all welcome as guests of our home. My father has fought his entire life to bring equality for all races here to the city. Much of that fight must be endured in secrecy as the powers that be in Gracklstugh would cling to the old ways with a death grip. I ask that you be truthful in your answers and respectful with your table manners. My father is one for proper etiquette, which I admit, is rather unusual for a Duergar, although I suppose that's a product of living in a world of the social elite."
He then opens the two massive doors that permit entry into an expansive foyer with two receding staircases set towards the back of the room. Servants of varying races come to assist. You see Hemeth doff his armor and hand over his weapons to a couple of them.
Hemeth - "Please, know that you are safe here and your weapons and armor will be polished and at the ready for you in the morning." Turning to the servants he says, "Would you kindly show them to the baths and a fresh set of undergarments?"
Leon doffs hear gear except for the ring of spell storing, his amulet to Tymora, and Dawnbringer.
"If you don't mind I will keep this hilt with me and polish it myself. It has deep sentimental value to me and has no blade at the moment to hurt anyone."
"Hemeth, your father's place.. the stone work is magnificent. Aye they can take me gear. Moradins will got me here and I feel safe. Maybe they can give me Mace a shining eh? Match this fine shield of mine. Oh, does your father have a place to pray to moradin here? If its ok, at some point I'd like to step into it if he does. I've been on the road for a while and haven't paid me respects proper".
"What could yer father possibly want from us mate? A dwarf who has these resources wanting to meet a halfling, even as attractive as me-self seems unlikely? Did he hear about me stay at the Twin Boulders? Might he be looking for sensuality lessons? (Elmo slaps hem on the back and laughs at his own joke)"
Hemeth - "You have questions. My father may have your answers. He also has questions the he hopes you may have answers for. I can assure you they don't involve your time at the Twin Boulders, my friend. Hah!"
"So tell me more about this date spot ye be needing? I'm just curious, lad. Do ye have an old flame who lives in G town? Did yer god tell ye ye'd meet a lass in a tavern down here? What makes ye so certain you could find a date ? Do dwarven women crave human men? Also, that be a stunning beard ye be sporting mate."
"Well Elmo... its hard to explain. The lady I met saved Grem and my life. She is the dawn in the darkest of lights. She has never been on a date before and I would like to show her a good time. Let me bath up and I will introduce you two after. Thanks for the compliment of the beard. Grem and I had a competition going for a while.... and then one of our judges was murdered and the other lost so were a postponing it for a little bit How's life been for you Elmo?
After completing the conversation with Elmo Leon would like to speak with Hemmeth
"Hemmeth my good sir I have a quick couple of questions for you after dinner if that is alright? I know a lot of stuff has happened recently and I truly appreciate your help."

“Sweet mother of Tymora... agreed Grem. My apologies”
Leon keeps his eyes forward and continues to follow Hemmeth.
Telepathically to Dawnbringer
”My lady is there anywhere you would like to go once we get a night on the town? Anything you enjoy doing?
To Grem privately,
“ is it me mate ? Or is Leon trying to **** his sword?”
Gremryl raises an eyebrow at Elmo

"A sound call Lad. Best to play ye cards close to the vest eh?"
Do you allow your gear to be taken?

Gremryl enjoying, nods.
