Isk looks at the group as the conversation unfolds, unsure as to why the immediate distrust. "If you mentored Frosk, then I believe that is enough to trust you. We would be glad to hear your offer of help."
(OOC: I realize this is a lot of text and information. If you have questions, they can be IC - directed at Mercury, or OOC - asking the DM.)
The tall lady (Mercury) responds. "I will say what I observe, and what I recommend. You can then tell me whether or not you want to follow my suggestions."
She think the attacks against your group will escalate
"There is increased activity from a number of disreputable organizations. While they have other goals, one is to crush your party. They keep an eye out for promising heroic adventurers, and end them while they are still vulnerable. This trick with the devils and the bag of holding was their attempt to be subtle. When next they come, they will bring overwhelming numbers and force, and attack when you are least prepared. You have made your presence known to all in the region, and you are too exposed in this town. The guards should be protecting you, but I suspect that some of the town leaders (and their followers) will be upset at the trouble around you, and not assist you.
"You could ask for sanctuary in the Temple of Eldath. But two of your members have expressed that they do not wish to be inactive and passive. And although that temple has strong members, they are ill-suited for prolonged fights."
She recommends that you go to Nunkreet
"I recommend that you go into the City of Nunkreet, and stay there until your situation has improved. With all of the gods represented in that city, there are limits to what your enemies can do without raising the ire of the churches and nobles. They will still try, but they will be handicapped.
"You will be able to find allies, or at least, those who will work with you in opposing Bane... My first choice would be to reach an accord with the followers of Helm (god of protection). After that, the church of Oghma (god of bards) would be useful. Those clerics do not specialize in fighting, but they acquire knowledge, and you will need military intelligence. Both of those groups have strong hatred of Bane... You could try to ally with the largest guild in the city, the Iron Gate, but the price for their help (in gold or tasks to be done) will be higher... There are other groups, but they may not have the strength that you will require."
She recommends stopping by the Watchful Guild compound near Nunkreet
"I recommend traveling from here to the main Watchful Guild compound just north of the city. You can take shelter there for a short time, and rest. I also think that you are ready for more training, and will see a marked improvement in mind and body with a few days of instruction." (OOC: You have enough XP for level 4, but won't level up until training is done.)
How she offers to help you get there
"If you agree with my advice, I will write two parchments: one for the Watchful Guild in Greensville, and another for the main compound near Nunkreet. You should go directly from here to Noam (the gnome running the guild office in this town). With my note, he will make arrangements for your transport south. After that, gather your belongings from the inn, and leave immediately. Be well south of the town by dark, and do not stop until you reach the Guild compound... I and my friends will interfere with any skulkers we come across, but we can't be everywhere.
"With my second note, Bommie (the water genasi who helps run the main compound) will waive the fee for your training. When it is over, she can give you more counsel and assistance for where to go in the City."
"Will you follow my advice? Should I write the 2 notes for your group?"

Froskan frowns slightly as he searches his memory. "Nothing good, I know that much..." he hedges as he thinks.
(Arcana check to see if he'd know? 6)
After a few moments he sighs. "I know I've read about it, but my brain seems to be a bit frazzled at the moment."
(OOC: You can mouse-over the bag of holding... It all works out. As one of his teachers, she was going to be tough on Froskan no matter what he said.)

“I’m not rejecting ye. I’m just saying try to be more polite in the ways ye stop me, if ye don’t want to get a sword through the hand. Got it?”Jack says with a chuckle and a hint of non-aggression.
(147 here you go.)
(it’s not like Jack was staring, it was like ‘Hey. I’m not scared of you’ kind of look. Either way, he still does it.)
”Pupil?” Jack’s eyes go wide and he smiles. “Tell me some things about Froskan, would ye?”
(Before Mercury's info dump)
Froskan shakes his head and lets out a small sigh at Jack's excitement, though his mouth does twitch briefly into a smile. He looks to Mercury. "You know me," he says. "I'm always happy to listen to advice and guidance." He chuckles a bit. "Though not always the best at following through afterwords at times..." he adds a bit wistfully.
Froskan nods along at Mercury's suggestions. "As it happens, we have some familiarity and contacts within the Watchful Guild ourselves. Notes from you to bring with us I'm sure would not go amiss, and I do recall it being a great place to train before we head back out to find more trouble."
Reverie looks at Jack and then to Froskan, then to Mercury for a moment. Nodding at Froskan's words. "If you could trust her words, then I will follow her suggestions. After all, it is good to know that we have our enemy..." Then she gazes at Mercury and then to Iskandar. "Do you think the noble would help us if we are asking for an alliance?"

Your party moves to the river bridge and to the center of town. You move at a normal pace (to avoid drawing suspicion) and are carefully watching around you. What used to be the carefree last day of the Festival now seems darker and more dangerous.
You arrive at the Watchful Guild building without incident. As expected, Noam (the gnome) is working on paperwork instead of attending the festival. Before your group can speak up, Noam hands a cloth-wrapped item to Froskan. "The Diamondbrooks tried to avoid paying, claiming that you destroyed their family property. They had to comply, when the arbitrator agreed that they can't hire you to take care of the hostile animated armor in the house, and then claim they wanted it intact."

After being handed the sealed note with the "N" (in Draconic) on the outside, Noam looks it over very intensely, then carefully breaks the the seal. Embedded in the wax was a small metallic object, like piece of a fish or reptile scale. He looks that over carefully, then grunts in satisfaction. He reads over the note, and his expression gets gloomy. You can hear him mutter faintly, "work... always more work..."
He ignores your group for the next 5 minutes, as he is looking over different parchments and scribbling notes. Finally, he hands your group a different parchment. "To the east of the Portly Warthog, before you reach the town entrance guard station, are stables. After you get your belongings, go to the stables and hand them this note. They will provide horses for each of you. You should ride without stopping, until you get to the WG compound north of Nunkreet.
"The horses are a loan. Do not injure the horses by sprinting the entire trip. You will be traveling with speed but not all out. You will be returning the horses alive at the compound, because this is a loan."
He then waves for your group to leave his office, so he can get back to his (normal) work.
