Reverie Forestgleam—Human Paladin Level 5 in Frontier City of Nunkreet Extremely busy and busy as ever recently, but I will trying to catch up as much as I can
The Ogre Zombie (OZ) has pushed through. (The description is in post 2304.) Froskan, Jack, and Reverie recognize the main body of the zombie as the she-ogre that was with the bandit leader. The parts that were burned away were replaced with other ogre parts, like a flesh golem / Frankenstein's monster. There is no intelligence in the eyes, just the reaction of a mindless undead ordered to attack. It is more than just an ogre zombie, but enough damage will take out the meat tank.
Outside the gate, the sounds of battle continue, but appear to be winding down.
The party is up. Reminder that trees and the ogre bodies are considered "difficult" terrain (10' of movement to move 5'). Reverie, Iskander, and Jack are close enough that they can move into melee range, if they wish.

Jack runs to the Ogre Mom. ”What did they do to ye? Don’t worry, I’ll avenge you, and put ye out of your misery. Sorry for this, but it’s the only way.” Regretfully, Jack swings at her. This act inspires Reverie to help put her away!
Attack: 22 Damage: 6
”Should we do another death rite this time? And make sure she stays burnt and/or is burnt completely, Reverie, Froskan?”
(Froskan, Iskander, and Reverie are still up. Jack has given Reverie a Bardic Inspiration die.
The last time, the she-ogre was well burned, but cremating 400-500 lbs. of ogre would have taken too long to do in the middle of a forest. There is better equipment here to do a complete job.)

(Sorry for my absence. I was busy over the long weekend, and then my computer died yesterday (never gets fully through the boot process). I’ll be a lot slower posting until that’s fixed probably, though I’m trying to work through my games on my phone atm to at least get posts up).
Froskan gasps as the zombie ogre mom comes into view, stumbling backwards several steps by instinct. He rolls another orb of fire between his hands and launches it at the creature.
(I’ve been busy with my work and training at the work. I really need to catch up quickly. Sorry for being late!)
Reverie chuckles at Jack’s words that soon fades into a short gasp at the sight of the zombie ogre and then throws her crossbow as she pulls out a similar and a dagger. ”Oh, we should.” Just in case, she will cast lays on hands pool on her.
Cast, lays on hands pool to herself - 10 hp
(I shall use inspiration if I'm able to do the melee attack since Reverie used her move for changing her weapons?)

Reverie Forestgleam—Human Paladin Level 5 in Frontier City of Nunkreet Extremely busy and busy as ever recently, but I will trying to catch up as much as I can
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Oddly enough, zombies don't have resistance to necrotic damage.
For Reverie, the Lay-on-Hands is her action, but she draws her scimitar this round. Next round she can draw the dagger and attack with both. The use of inspiration can always be done after seeing the roll result. If you roll really well or really poorly, you can decide to hold onto it.)
Player results
Froskan - is starting to get comfortable with dealing fire (18 damage)
Iskander - moves to with glaive distance, and and deals 18 damage total.
Jack - pushes through the tree (to avoid stepping in dead ogre), approaches the ogre zombie from the SE, and deals 6 damage. Jack expresses regret that the ogre was brought to undead state, but the zombie doesn't respond.
Reverie - prepares for next round. Uses up her remaining Lay-On-Hands, and is now at 29/36 hp. She has Inspiration from Jack.
Trimyrai - gets a solid arrow shot, but all the ogre blubber makes it hard to hit something vital (5 damage).
Enemy action
The ogre zombie lumbers forward and to the left, to get further away from the gate door. (Jack gets an attack of opportunity.) The head was pieced together from two corpses. The burned she-ogre half looks towards Reverie and tries to mash her with the charred left arm. The other half of the face (male) is guiding the right arm (but from a different ogre) to try to smack Iskander.
Left arm at Reverie - Attack: 17 Damage: 11 (hit)
Right arm at Iskander - Attack: 27 Damage: 17 (hit)

(Reverie: You still need to make an attack roll. You can say: if she hits, add Divine Smite to the damage. If she doesn't hit, then you don't use up the spell slot for the divine smite.
Also, Jack's bard inspiration can be added to the to-hit roll, or even to the damage done. So if you don't think you need it for the to-hit roll, you can chose to make it damage. Or you can hold onto the inspiration for up to 10 minutes.)
